Everyone said this when Evans was cast as Cap.
"He's a frat bro" / "He's only played goofy characters like in Not Another Teen Movie"
I still remember the earlier rumor that Jim Halpert was gonna be cast but then Evan's performance The Losers won a few people over.
And while were on memory lane, John Cena as Cap and Triple H as Thor. Thank god we've come a long way from that sort of thinking

Muscly Jim Halpert would've been a good Cap. Evans is great though.

I agree. I don't know why but I've got more faith in him now.
We'll see how he does as an actor in this Bay movie. Might land him better roles down the line, word to Pratt in Zero Dark 30.

Dude is clearly getting heavy screentime but they didn't edit a single one of his lines into the damn trailer

It's not a straight up action movie with some fictional plot. It's based on real events, the Benghazi attack, just Bayified.

can you elaborate for those that are not familiar with the antman comics
In a flashback sequence Hope Van Dyne's mom, Janet, shrank so small that she entered the microverse but they was no way out. At the end of the movie Hank did the same thing but he had a convenient plot device to prevent him from being stuck in the microverse.
Microverse referring to your perception of the universe at that size.

i just watched the antman. great movie by the way. i just couldn't understand why he couldn't remember what he saw or how he got out of the micro verse or quantum world.
so much potential for a part 2. never read the comics nor any interest in the ant man but this movie was better than what i was expecting.
