Renner isn't there yet where he's in tv cuz nobody wants him in Hollywood anymore. He's still looking for that niche to get him consistent roles.
Plus they almost seem a bit cheap shelling out Nick Blood for this character. If they tried I think they could get somebody better than Blood and Renner acting wise

They got the backing of Disney 
- It's on ABC. Another network that hasn't really recovered since LOST and Desperate Housewives were a thing. They'll okay all of the MCU shows they can get if they get huge ratings in the millions for the premieres. While they haven't floundered like NBC with being aimless and the amount of cancellations, they're looking for some consistent noteworthy attention getting shows. Despite everybody thinking this comic book movie stuff is a bubble it still makes all the sense for ABC to try and benefit from that now. Not every network has juggernauts that still do crazy #s 4 seasons in like The Walking Dead (why it still it has high ratings and a spin off Idk) and Game of Thrones. Plus with netflix having original programming and actually having high quality shows that would do big #s if they were on a network it makes it harder for networks to get the best shows since they're the ones that'll want 20+ eps a season, milk stuff behind dry, and only respond to they fight crime premises.

I thought abc was flourishing with those crappy shandra rimes shows on Thursday. Basically all chick shows in one night and nothing on the other nights though.

I forgot about Scandal cuz I don't watch it but they are flourishing with that. It's big but it's there only real standout.
That lady also made Grey's Anatomy which has been on for a long time but isn't as big as Scandal. Then there's How To Get Away with Murder which I think has started off good. Those are her shows though and kinda have her brand of storytelling so I can see ABC also wanting to find another hit in a different lane. Rimes is already dominating an entire night when her shows are in season.
I forgot about her shows simply cuz it's been the summer and even back in spring they haven't had a lot of new hits. Although there is that one show about the alien turning children in to murderers which is just ****** up but good.

It's ****** up and has me still watching cuz it has a compelling hook but I wouldn't even want to use the word "good" given what they're doing in the show concept and story wise. This **** is just wrong and evil.
It's not bad by any means, there's nothing outright horrible about the acting or writing but the story itself will have you like
Especially if you have children or young ones in your family.

the stuff Holland shot in ATL was a Germany airport scene(s) (presumably the scene where Mackie & TSW are running). What he shot last week was a contuination of that scene

I like agents of shield... don't get me wrong it took some paitience but they ironed out the kinks.

Age of Ultron was a better watch the second time around. I'm not sure where it ranks in the MCU, but still below my top three of Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and Iron Man 1.

My expectations may have been wayyyy to high for ultron.. Between what I knew from the comics and cartoons and what could potentially be done with that
Then the movie being whedon's last avengers movie.. Then spacey voicing the character.. Plus cap 2 and GOTG proceeding it
The bar was high.. And I legit expected him to be a mainstay villain to come with the film ending on sorta cliffhanging where you knew he wasn't going away and being a 1 and done villain
