WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

They used the navy blue from Amazing fantasy days...

If they give us the emote eyes I swear I'm gonna cry :wow:

Most likely web shooters, as it always should be. I still want Tony to give him a Tonyfied version of them.

SECOND MARVEL COMEDY IN DEVELOPMENT AT ABC

ABC is currently in development on a second Marvel comedy beyond the previously announced Damage Control.

Speaking with IGN at ABC's 2016 winter Television Critics Association press tour party, ABC Entertainment Group President Paul Lee revealed that his network has two Marvel comedies in development.

Lee declined to share what the second comedy will be about, but did say "in the long term, we'd love it to be" on ABC. "We definitely want to do Marvel comedies as well as dramas and of course, as you know, we supply lots of dramas to Netflix," he said.

"AMERICAN CRIME'S" RIDLEY SAYS HIS MARVEL TV PROJECT IS "VERY MUCH ALIVE"
After almost a year of silence, Academy Award winning screenwriter John Ridley has confirmed that his mystery project with Marvel Television is still "very much alive." As reported by IGN, Ridley gave the update during ABC's 2016 winter Television Critics Association press tour.

"The Marvel project is still very much alive," said Ridley, whose "American Crime" anthology series just began its second season on ABC. News of the partnership between Marvel and Ridley was first announced in April 2015. Ridley refrained from giving out too many details about the series, which he says is "still in development." Ridley, who won an Academy Award for adapting "12 Years a Slave" into a screenplay, did add that he wants the project to mix the social consciousness with "straight entertainment."

"You look at 'Jessica Jones,' and [Marvel's] doing an interesting job of integrating [social consciousness]," said Ridley. "I would say in general, graphic novels, their reason for existence is a little different. It's about wish fulfillment, whether you're talking about Peter Parker, a young, misunderstood kid trying to figure out his way; if you're talking about Bruce Wayne, a man who's dealing with the loss of his parents; whether you're talking about Clark Kent, an orphan who's trying to figure out what he's meant to do without the guidance of his parents.

"That's not unusual for the graphic novel space, so I would just say I hope that I would bring an appropriate amount of reflective sensibility to whatever project I may or may not be involved with in the Marvel universe. But I do want it to be entertaining in its own right."
I'm no longer sure what this show is gonna be but I'm still interested.

I didn't know they were developing a first comedy.
Damage Control would mostly be a comedy.

“We are fortunate to have such an esteemed filmmaker join the Marvel family,” said producer Kevin Feige. “The talents Ryan showcased in his first two films easily made him our top choice to direct ‘Black Panther.’ Many fans have waited a long time to see Black Panther in his own film, and with Ryan we know we’ve found the perfect director to bring T’Challa’s story to life.”

Coogler wrote and directed his first award-winning feature film, “Fruitvale Station,” in 2013. Most recently he directed the critically-acclaimed “Creed,” which earned Sylvester Stallone a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.

Black Panther has been an important character in the Marvel universe for 50 years. He is the king of the technologically-advanced nation of Wakanda, and Panther has served as a member of the Avengers in addition to his many solo adventures.

Coogler is represented by WME and Cohen Gardner LLP
