WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

@lamekilla may never recover....

Badass Digest have apparently reached out to their Marvel sources about the chances of Spider-Man appearing in Captain America: Civil War, and the answer they received might just disappoint you! As of right now, it's said that the "ship has sailed" and Peter Parker is not factored into the current iteration of this movie.

The site also reports that, "One of my sources reiterates that Winter Soldier will be central to the story, and that there have been hints planted through the Marvel movies as to how that works."
This is honestly a good thing overall, specifically the bold. It goes back to if Marvel had the rights to Spidey and the X-Men we'd never get great movies like GotG and even Cap and Thor. Avengers would've been a very different movie.

It's a good thing WS is getting that spotlight right after the last Cap movie. With dude's 9 movie deal Marvel could've easily paced that out or not make him feature as much.

Problem solved, there's a version of Spiderman Sony doesn't have the right to, maybe he can replace Peter Parker in Civil War! @lamekilla will live!

LEAKED: Sony's Hilarious List Of Rejected Super Heroes For The Spider-Man Franchise

Spider-Ham a.k.a Peter Porker

Amazingly, this parody character had a 17-issue run of its comic book series. Spider-Ham was a pig version of Spider-Man who possessed the abilities of a spider. Marvel informed Sony in 2011 that the character had been frozen.
 Lets do it.

In the comics now, Spider-ham is basically the Spidey version of Rocket Raccoon anyway.

I've just started reading Kelly McCormick' Captain Marvel series.

I swear they can lift the plot for her movie straight out of volume one...

Highly anticipating the movie now.

One of the perks to not having Spiderman or X-men under Marvel, is getting to be excited about new characters like her.

Dear god, Star Lord's dad is an ***

Though there is no way for me to know I'd be surprised if this isnt the story they go with, maybe mixed with her origin story. Captain Marvel being popular is a fairly recent thing.

I havent read too much on her but its the comic I enjoy the most about her. I've only read that and some of the current ongoing.

Yo what if Bucky killed Starks parents?
It's been the longest and I still don't know how Stark's parents died.

That'd be a cool twist to relationships in the present. I think it'd hit harder if Bucky was an outright bad guy still.

I'd hold her hand

Yeah and it adds to the tension between Cap and IM

Maybe they can tell her origin through flashbacks. Like she can be lonely as hell up in space and start reminiscing about bits of her life back on earth.

Besides that, volume one as constructed looks like it's made for the movies lol

Didn't Starks parents die in a car crash? I'm pretty sure there was a press clipping during the montage scene in the Winter Soldier when Zola was going on about Hydra still being in existance.

See what I'm saying.

Plus there's the whole thing in the comics with Howard Stark being alive after his "death" working for the Brotherhood/Order of the S.H.I.E.L.D. with Nathaniel Richards.

Howard Stark is actually Walt Disney hence he is alive and frozen in a cryogenic chamber somewhere beneath DisneyWorld.

People actually like it. I think the first season flows better if you watch it straight thru. Those breaks they had really ruined the flow
