WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Might not be bobble heads but from what I understand, all Marvel figures by Funko are bobble heads.

Not true.

It says "bobble-head" right on the box.

I've also asked this on the Funko thread and got this answer.

Thanks, it's getting kind of addicting though. After I get one and you look in the back, it makes me kind of want to complete the set. Been able to control it so far though and just buy what I like, doesn't help that I like plenty.

Just curious but is there a reason why Marvel figures are bobble heads while the others are just regular?
I believe that Hasbro has exclusive rights to make Marvel figures, so Funko gets around it by making them bobbleheads.

Yah I open and display all of mine and I arrange them by their own "universe" and noticed the Marvels are all bobble heads. You really can't tell from the box unless you look from the bottom and you see a small metal part of the spring is sticking out a bit by the neck area.

The Avengers comic has been leading to this "Reboot" for awhile. Can't wait to see what happens... Good or Bad

Really? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

At least I have an excuse to stop reading then.

Their comics are already seling well enough. Not sure if "The New 616" will help them that much.

They confirmed it.
 No they did not.

Just finished talking about this in the comics thread. If anything the EiC just said the opposite of a reboot would happen.

Then again ppl have been using the word reboot all crazy without it's meaning mattering much. Marvel isn't starting over their universe.

Nah, at this point, 3 months away Marvel would just announce their reboot like Dc did with the New 52.

What this is, is Marvel purposely not directly answering if they're rebooting while teasing that they are so they can completely dominate sales when Secret Wars starts.

A reboot consists of starting fresh. Starting completely over. Not to mention they did this already with the Ultimate universe. Given what they've said, they're just building on existing history. At best lesser known characters will be replaced with alternate versions for the chance they'll be more popular with a new take. Then there's adding new characters that don't exist in the MU; Ultimate U characters like Miles Morales, heroes from New Universe/NewUniversal, Supreme Power, Shadowline comics, etc. They're testing all of this out by having minis and new ongoings during SW to give this a legit chance.

If you look close at what's said though you can interpret their intent like with what the E-i-C said:
"Read and find out," Alonso said of the possibility of a reboot. "Like I said, we are taking some chances here, but I will stand by -- I think Tom will back me -- our history's not broken. We don't view our history as being broken or something that we need to fix. If anything we think we are building upon that history and we are taking the best and biggest pieces of it and seeing how easily they coexist with one another. We don't expect all our moves to make everyone happy, but we think it will make for a really fascinating read through 'Secret Wars' and beyond."

All in all I think this approach is way better an idea that just rebooting the entire universe
