the hobbit movies were basically one movie broken up into 3 parts and it was lame and the way the first 2 movies ended was lame.

Naah. The Hobbit films were great.

Have no problem with them just containing Infinity War to one film. I'm assuming it's going to be like 3 hours though

W/e they call it, Thanos and the infinity gauntlet will be in both.

They're still basically filming both movies in a short time span. They're both Avengers movies. I doubt they're about to start doing yearly Avenger flicks.

Disney release schedule update suggests two-part sequel now standalone film


Marvel’s next “Avengers” adventure — titled “Infinity War” — might no longer be told two in two parts, as it was previously announced to be.

A schedule change from Disney late Friday said that the second film in the planned two-parter would no longer be called “Avengers: Infinity War Part II.” Instead, that project has been renamed as an “Untitled Avengers” film.

The studio will release the first part “Avengers: Infinity War” — no longer with “Part 1” in its title — as planned on May 4, 2018. The second film, now called “Avengers Untitled,” will hit as planned on May 3, 2019.

Not to sound like a **** but I could've sworn that piece of news was posted in here a while ago. Unless whatever what was posted at the time was just a rumor and they just confirmed it now, and I'm mis-remembering.

Anyway, glad they changed the part 1 and part 2 stuff. That ish don't make sense considering they had two solo movies in between part 1 and part 2.

If i remember correctly, we've only seen him sitting.

I see it as the first film being the start of something then the second is the end result or them dealing with it. No reason for Thanos to be built up for ten years only to be defeated in one film.

The other part of the problem is that when you stop and think about it, if I’m shooting a television series and that’s going to go on over a six-month or eight-month period, how am I going to get Mike [Colter] to be able to go be in a movie? I need Mike to be in a television show.”

Makes sense. Doesnt seem like at his point in phase 3 there will be any crossovers. They would have to sit down and plan Phase 4 together. I would like for them to introduce a conflict between the big heroes like the Avengers and the street level ones. That could explain their absence somewhat.

To me it looks like the movies think they're too cool to have the tv people in their films.

The tv and netflix people are salty. I know chloe bennett must've been thinking i'm in shield and shield is in the movies so i'll eventually be in a few. Then shield is gone but then back except very few know about it and the movies have moved on from shield characters.

no one is asking for the tv stars to really have parts, but give us some cameos. we need Palicki bae on that big screen

But at the same time, phase 3 is planned out. Thats the biggest issue. At this point, they dont fit. Also scheduling conflicts will he an issue that'll slow down both productions

honestly i just want to see luke cage and daredevil do something, even if matt is just defending someone in court.
