Anyone attending the Ultimate Marvel Marathon leading up to the premiere? 11 movies in 23 hours...

I wanted to, but nah. I don't want to sit through IM2, Thor 1 & 2, & IM3. I may do it if they plan on showing all of Phase II's films the next go round though.

Watched again. I'd definitely put this as my number 1 Marvel flick. The interactions between the characters are so great in this one. Can't wait to see in the theater. Joss stepped it up in every way. I'm curious how AOS is affected by this or how AOS affects leads into it.

sounds painful.

i once read an article from an electronics magazine editor who tried to do a Lord of the Rings extended edition marathon

...he regretted it

Watching Cap1 right now again, this movie took me a couple re-watch to fully appreciate it. This is probably the bet WW2 war movie I've ever watched

Guess you haven't seen a lot of WW2 movies then.

Seriously, you must not have.

Cap 1 is just okay and if looked at as a WW2 movie is one of the worst WW2 movies out there. I was immensely disappointed by the lack of portrayal of Cap really fighting during that war and it's depiction (they literally montage him being a solider once he actually started to fight as Cap in the war while all we get before is him promoting the war in plays or w/e the **** that was).

Agreed. Hugo Weaving and Ben Kingsley wasted :smh:

They've wasted a lot of talented actors. Ben Kingsley, Lee Pace, Mickey Rourke most notably. Some would Say Jeff Bridges as well but I actually liked Obadiah Stane.

Well it was Lord of the Rings. That's a different kind of torture.

There are some cuts online where they took an hour out of each of the LotR movies and those cuts were very highly rated amongst fans. Many people even preferring them to the release version, myself included. I dont see how someone could want the extened versions :x I just dont like Peter Jackson. He'll spend an hour on some of the most trivial ******** then blink and miss something that shouldve lasted a decent amount of screen time.

I'd say Stane was good. Favreau just wasn't good at action, and they shouldn't have killed him. If they make another solo, maybe they could introduce his son or whatever.

Yeah, that film could've been trimmed up a bit. But The Hobbit series kinda makes me not care about LOTR anymore. I won't watch them again.
