WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

That sucks, so that means someone from the Avengers will be in the Spidey film and he might be only getting a suit in the end?
No he'll get a suit in Civil War. Most likely from Stark because Peter will geek out when meeting him. They won't be pajamas per se, but remember he's still new at this and he's just a hero whereever he lives. More than likely Stark or Cap will have seen footage of the kid, try to bring him in to assess his abilities and maybe recruit him. He'll duck off because of all the civil war stuff or because Cap doesn't think he's ready.

He had a homemade suit in the first one when he fought bonesaw.

It'd make sense if Tony gives him the Iron Spider suit and then cap gives him the traditional red and blues when he turns.

I said it before but I've always imagined he'd start off with the homemade wrestler suit, Tony gives him the Iron Spider, and then Cap gives him his traditional costume by movie's end.

I also hope they finally give him the web-wings too, especially since they're bringing it back in the comics.

What if Spidey runs into Daredevil's suit maker and that is how he ends up with his official suit? :nerd:

Has it been confirmed or even rumored that any of the people from MCU is coming over to the Spideyverse? I know they exist in the same world now but from what I understand Spidey gets to show up in MCU films but others do not in Spidey films? Or did I miss something?

Or are you guys still hoping this pajama to spandex to Iron Spidey all happens in CW because I think if it is then be ready for a gigantic disappointment.

I also do not see that happening in the Spidey film, I want to be proven wrong because it would be awesome to see the Iron Spidey but I just don't see it happening in this new film. I still don't want 2 hours of pajama Spidey.

Also, I believe Feige stated that they will be utilizing Spiders old-school costume in his next solo film so I hope that hold more true than the pajama rumor.

Edit: I guess they can show up if Fiege allows it.

He definitely won't be getting Iron Spidey armor

It's very plausible that he's starting with a homemade suit before we see him in Civil War, and then he gets one from Stark or Cap. We wont see him in a homemade costume for 2 hours. Won't make sense.

Also Storm is Kenyan. A lot of Kenyans do have "white" features according to africans.

That'll be interesting

Well I am going by what was posted that he'd be in pajamas until Shield/Avengers gives him his suit, which in his first film, somed likt it would be int he end and others actually ok with him swinging around in pajamas for the entirety of the film. :x

Head that Spiderman's first costume will be like homemade pajamas or whatever, and after impressing the Avengers or whatever, he'll get a new suit

Starting with pajamas then quickly transitioning to his Spidey suit is fine, they did it well in SM1 and ASM1 and that is part of his origins to an extent.

Plus i thought this Spidey film isn't going to be origins anymore, he'll be Spidey already so it already makes no sense that he is still in his pajamas in his solo film.

CW comes out before Spidey. How is that going to work if he only has a small cameo in CW?

Haha @RFX45 I'm kinda surprised that you're this highly opiniated about the homemade costume

Not like he'll be in that homemade costume forever

Again I am good with him in that costume temporarily (like in SM1 and ASM1) but for the whole film, it's just bad. I already stated that I am not that keen on this starting to be another HS Peter, which considering the age of the actor they hired, he could be there for the next 3-4 films, so adding this 2hr pajama party rumor then the rest of my enthusiasm is drained.

I'll still watch at midnight though so Marvel/Sony already got my money anyways.

With the new Spider costume revealed, what are the odds they'll give him a wall crawling SpiderTumbler in the film too?

When I said the whole "he'll have a homemade suit in CW and they'll give him an official one" I got hell in here lol

Feige said early on that Spidey exist in the MCU right now & he's running around NY in a homemade suit

I still think them calling it a Cameo is pretty misleading. He'll most likely have about 10-15 minutes of screen time. Holland might only be shooting for a week but for all we know all the action could have already been done without him on set

I explained it. It's my belief that Cap or IM will have seen footage of him in action saving people and may want to assess his abilities or recruit him. He can easily be given the suit by IM or Stark as a gift.

Or he could go through CW and the first act or so of his solo film in the "homemade" suit, run into his first real villain and get the dog **** beat out of him then have someone gives him his real suit.

I'm reaching ofc but throw Fury in the film for a couple minutes and have him hook spider man up  vibranium webbing on it so its bullet proof (doesn't Miles have something like that on his suit?)

Could happen, but I just don't see him leaving CW without the suit.

I could see Fury doing it seeing how Secret Warriors is going to be the arc on S3 of AOS, but I'd rather Phil do it. I want him back in the fold.

Why in CW? It really makes no sense for Peter to get the suit in CW then never to return unless it is in the end of the film as an end credit scene or something.

Well the real answer is to show general audience that he's apart of this world.

The movie reason may be because they need to recruit more people for the team seeing how two members retired. They may realize that the roster will alter constantly, so they need more bodies. Keep in mind that the Civil War stuff is going on and Peter's just a kid so he may not want to be wrapped up in all that and just dip.

On AoS does anyone know that Fury is still alive?
Anyone, meaning the characters on the show? Yes, Fury appears at the end of Season One to explain what "happened" to Coulson and where he was headed next.

I thought most knows now that he is alive, at least within the TRUE SHIELD?

When Coulson returned and agve back the cube, I think he told Gonzalez that he was following Furys orders or something like that. He was even mocking saying "oops" iirc.

Yeah, I knew Colston knew. I couldn't remember if the secret got outed.

And I remember the Gonzalez scene now too lol.
