What is a Captain Marvel suppose to look like?

Carol Danvers is an Air Force Colonel. Face and body wise I'd buy Blunt as that than other blond actresses.

No way Marvel is letting unknowns lead their franchises. Especially something as important as their first female led superhero movie.

If you want unknowns look at homey playing Luke Cage. I bet the guy end up cast as Iron Fist will pretty much be an unknown too. Technically Charlie Cox is unknown as **** too.

Movie guys though are either well known or recently have raised their profile immensely (past 5 years Cumberbatch has become a well known actor in America, damn near every promoted movie Boseman has been in has done well in the box office, Mackie has been on his grind to being a movie star, so no surprise if Blunt gets the role since she's doing it at a high level for quite some time now).

Plus it seems nobody else was ever really considered for the role anyway.

Aside from edge of tomorrow i dont see her as a military colonel. Her build is no different than angelina jolies (minus the chest)
Carol danvers always had a bigger build. Tall prominent.
I hate to keep bringing her up. But i feel adrienne palicki was wasted with her role on shield. I see her as captain marvel

Her or a charlize theron build. Blunt is too small imo.

adrienne palicki is cool on tv, not a movie star alos not the same caliber actor that Emily Blunt.


Emily Blunt is an excellent actress stop getting caught up on look, what ever it is she will pull it off.

RDJ is only 5'9" Tony stark is 6'1"

Captain Marvel is 5'11" Im sure they can make someone 5'7" look that height. She'll iikely bee in boots or heels anyway

Her anatomy is a cross between Kree and human. Just like WW there is no real reason for her to be big

I like her. I think it'd be REALLY hard to cast somebody wrong for a superhero movie. Except Ryan Reynolds.

I don't think Marvel studios has made any bad decisions, at least in the Post Iron Man MCU era.

DC is stupid for not incorporating the Arrow and Flash shows into their cinematice universe in the same way that Marvel is doing with Daredevil and so on. Is honestly just a wasted opportunity.

Palicki to me is just taller than Blunt. That's it. She does not have a bigger build.

Danvers in the comics never came across to me as tall or prominent (bigger build sure). That sounds more like She-Hulk.

Blake Lively is terrible. Seems you want her for the role solely based off of looks. No in depth thought at all about quality. Stuff like this is why I'm reminded you're the guy that said Amazing Spider-Man 2 was a masterpiece :x
