WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

The F4 would make a great morning cartoon again especially with all the weird comedy Cartoon Network and Disney XD and Nickelodeon promote (the 90's cartoon still has a very special place in my heart) I'm sure Marvel/Disney would find a way to make good merchandising money off the first family...

And while we're at it, World's greatest heroes was severely underrated. Really great show it just didn't fit on Cartoon Network, especially coming on before Justice League :rolleyes

Welp, it wasn't bad or good, or better than the 2005 version...it's just a movie. Definitely not worth seeing in the movies, I saw this cute female that sat in front of me tell her date that he should have to take a separate cab home for taking her to see the movie. She slept through most of the movie.

2/5 ...and I'm being nice.

Movie is so bad it's blocking yambs :x

Dead pool is gonna suck :smh:
Fox gives no dambs
They really running the marvel characters they have to the ground
Though the last 2 Spider-Man films were decent - good

Hopefully marvel gets miles and mbj like Chris Evans.. That has worked out for everyone involved

So if marvel wants to buy the rights for f4 right now, how much of a pity offer do they have to make?

200 mill.. 300.. 350?
After 4 straight terrible films I would just stay away from it. I don't even think there is real merchandising money in FF.

But to play along with the game I'd imagine they'd have to pay at least 400+ for Fox to consider it. Worse case scenario the movie is still going to make at least 200+ million worldwide and they still have the ability to do the X-Men franchise crossover and "save" the franchise

It's crazy that I'd rather see Marvel make something like The Runaways or Thunderbolts before I'd want to see them messing with F4
Yeah they don't need F4
The inhumans is their answer for not having F4
And while I'm not a big inhumans fan
Marvel just can't miss so far
Though still don't get what that red stuff in Thor 2 really was

Damn marvel would be dope if they was able to pull off that skrull invasion plot
Where they impersonated heroes

Yeah they don't need F4

Inhumans is their answer for not having mutants/x-men

How the hell he gets a rep
He quoted and posted almost verbatim
What I said in my second sentence :smh:

Garbage Xmen films (except first class) , and garbage Fantastic 4 films.

Can we get Anonymous to apply pressure on those rights to Marvel?

neither are inhumans
Fantastic is four people with powers that are a team.

Mutants are a race of people with superpowers.

Inhumans are a race of people with superpowers.

If you want to compare FF to something compare it to another team Avengers/JLA or w/e.

While the society/structure and origin of both groups is vastly different, Mutants/Inhumans are a much more direct comparison, and that's what he meant. Inhumans is more of a response to Marvel being unable to utilize mutants in MCU. Marvels response for Fantastic Four is removing merchandise with them, and blowing up the cast of the movie.

Really wish they could have Kang.
mean.gif
.. Don't know how they'd pull him off tho.
Easy look real menacing and destorying all the Avengers from the different future but the moment he arrives to the current MCU, he dies. lol

The 2005 movie was boring garbage too, I remember looking at my watch several times while it was playing. At least the reboot is consistent in that aspect and you should call it for what it is and give it 1/5.

I don't know what this White Queen show is  Whole time I thought you guys were referencing Emma Frost.

Would have to wait a few years and right now I can't think of any guys they could be for a movie.

I'd rather they scoop up Kate  :pimp:

Some money and probably renegotiate their X-Men deal and like I said before probably an agreement for a crossover with the MCU. Stuff like agreeing to start making X-Men movie merch and a cartoon to help boost those merch sales goes a long way. That's hundreds of millions. That's even if FOX is willing to give up everything F4 and that Disney has come to terms with buying back something they feel they should already own.
I read the interviews. He's gonna be somebody they face and then he won't actually be apart of the team but be an ally.

That's why I said technically. It was joke first, actual info after.
I thought that it was just speculation from before when all we had was the images and no comments. I've read two interviews, and kept trying to find where people saw/inferred him saying he definitely become an ally, but could never find it. Could you link me the one you read?
I don't remember which but there's a CBR interview, marvel.com interview, I think a comics alliance interview.

Al Ewing (the writer) has also made some posts to members on that board in the Ultimates thread on the cbr forums.

It could be F4 too  **** it.

All you need to do is get a family of 4 inhumans, make them want to explore the human world and space and ****. One's super smart, one's super strong, one has some defensive ability, and the last is young and reckless with some cool visual power.

I think no matter what happens to F4, the sequel is still set to be made and they know they'll bank big time on the eventual XMen and F4 crossover, even if it is bad.

a sequel for a movie that's 10% right now on rotten tomatoes YIKES!

If they make money, they aren't going to care. F4 looks like it might just break even but internationally, we are not sure how well it will be received.

I think they are looking at the bigger picture with the crossover though (although they claim the two are of different universe but that can be fixed). DoFP is their biggest bow office hit yet at ~$750m worldwide and the crossover with a big baddie could break that even if the film is mediocre in quality.
