i still believe Marvel is gonna pull the old switcheroo and reveal Vin Diesel as Thanos and someone else voicing Groot.

i feel like his his voice should be used for more than just "I AM GROOT"

I feel like he really should only have one line, "I AM GROOT!"

As much as I like the dude and find his F&F and Riddick series entertaining, unless he is going to crossover as Riddick to the Marvel-U, I am not sure I really want to see him playing anyone for Marvel.

Saw IM3 again and you know what evoked the most emotion out of me, the scene in the mansion attack and when the articulated mechanical robot arms was trying to save the other broken one.

Him and Hugh jackman have both expressed publicly that they would want to be in the avengers. Wish one day it could happen but these filming studios are blind to what the consumer really wants.

I think they see reviews, hear from the fans, and just wanna give em what they want. Or at least put out stuff that's that well received.

Be hard to ignore the hype the MCU gets. Same way animated studios can't just ignore Pixar.

I just don't get why they wouldn't want to join in on the franchise.

Because they don't want to share and deal with all the licensing and splitting of profits. This issue gets discussed every couple of weeks.

It doesn't look like spider man is reverting back to marvel anytime soon. They have a lot of movies planned. Heard there is something is going on with F4 as well.

Sony got more of the films right from Disney in exchange for merchandising rights so Spidey will be with Sony and Disney is happy with it.

Fox has plenty planned too. They already got some dates for some of their future films like Marvel does.

I just don't get why they wouldn't want to join in on the franchise.

Lots of legalities? How do you share profits? You think Fox or Sony will simply let their biggest and most profitable franchise characters make extra millions for Disney w/o asking for any of it back? And you think Disney will share the billions they'll make with Avengers when it'll make that much with or without them? Yeah you can argue that Avengers might make $2b with those two but again what will be Fox & Sony's share? What if they said "give us 5% of profits", you think Disney will go for that?

Then who would pay for the full production? Would Sony and FOx simply send Garfield and Jackman to film their parts and have to spend nothing and still get millions?

There are simply no way to determine how much money each character will add to the film to be able to split profits fairly and it can go much deeper than that.


Plus Marvel still get percentages on Wolvy & Spidey movies that another studio is making and Disney is racking up millions and millions on Spidey merchandising as they handle that part of the film. Marvel can focus on their own film and make the best possible film they can (Feige said they only make 2 films a year because he is afraid quality will go down if they made more) and still make money on the other franchise they aren't handling.

And according to The Sun, Scarletts baby bump will be CGI'd out. I'm curious though if this means less action scene for her?

I know we'll get a sort of professor version of hulk in A2. I'm expecting a mix between savage and professor so expect for hulk to be having full on comedic dialect while speaking in the 3rd person
