If Marvel goes with it has been doing so far with the comedy infused movies, I think Eliza Coupe could be Captain Marvel. Give her a little muscle plus she has comedy chops. Loved her on Happy Endings and on Scrubs

Webbs version is a cross between Ultimate and 616. In the Ultimate version, he's not the stereotypical nerd like he was in 616.

Yeah, quite frankly even in 616 Peter stopped being a hardcore nerd in college. He dressed more modern and was dating models

Makes more sense. Lang was never a con man. I can see how you could mesh con man and thief together for a criminal especially since con men i their own way are thieves but it also requires a level of cleverness, shrewdness, strategic skill, and extreme confidence.
