WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I guess he just didn't feel connected to the project or character? At least that is what it sounded like.

In a way you can kind of respect that to an extent, if he doesn't feel invested in it then he will just not gie 100% and the part might be wasted, he did call it meaningless to do the two hours of voicework for Transformers in exchange for a big bag of cash.
Idk, maybe it me, but if I'm making a couple hundred thousand to million for playing as minor as a role he has, I'd shut up and collect my money. If he's unhappy not being the star of the movie, or how his character is being utilized, he should've done some research about his character.

He did say he is glad he tried it but it just isn't for him.

I mean he did say if they force him to do it due to multiple film contract he signed that he would.

I'm in on Woodley in the right role, which in the marvel universe I'm not really sure what that would be off the top of my head..

Really enjoyed her in the spectacular now and the descendants

The bootleg game is killing the domestic market

It would stress me out if I was a studio exec

It's just a good thing that American movies are doing well overseas, maybe better than ever overseas, or else the box office would go to ****

Would love Woodley for a role, but off the top of my head, I too can't figure out who she'd be right for

More tickets to be sold next year than in the last 44 years?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/sho...-Star-Wars-will-fuel-cinema-boom-in-2015.html

I doubt it tho. Movies will likely just eat into each other's profits. Star Wars and Avengers being the only safe bets. But I aint no analysts. I know for sure I'll just be downloading most of these movies.

You got terminator, jurassic world, mockingjay 2, minions, peanuts, ted 2, spectre, inside out, good dinosaur will do big numbers, IMO.

I just realized I posted that in the wrong thread. Meant to do it in the general hero/supernatural thread.

They will do big numbers but it will be just like this year, where we expected 4000 different movies to open with 100M domestic/300M worldwide and none did. The movies still did well but besides GotG and Gone Girl and maybe a few more they all did less than they expected.

I really have no horse in this race. I'm just sayin, tickets keep increasing in price (especially AMC since they have to account for less seats in the theaters that have the recliners) but few movies are getting better.

As for Woodley all the characters I would want her to run for are in other studios. She'd be my top choice Rogue. Yah I said it. Don't een care.

All yall nuts. Woodley sucks balls. She doesn't fit as any major Marvel character in any studio. You'd have to reach like crazy.

So you basically just want a repeat of that True Blood chick as Rogue just with a different actress.

****** out here trying to sabotage Rogue on the low :smh:

I think Woodley is actually a very good actress but it is just her face, I do not see Mary Jane or just any attraction to her.

I swear put a white make up on her and she would make a good Joker or a female Riddler with that mug. I guess there is room for her in MarvelU, she can be Skrull and just paint her face green, no extra prosthetic needed.

Well I don't think she's a good actress, decent at best but you may be on to something there. I've yet to see a movie where she stood out in a good way or made the movie good. It's pretty painful actually in the movies where she is the main focus.

She can be that one skrull chick that tricked Johnny Storm in to thinking he was marrying Alicia Masters. So there you go, I was wrong about her not being good enough to be a major (somewhat major in this case) Marvel character. She has the face akin to a skrull.

Alright everybody, just calm down now. We can put this to rest. Luther himself has just cleared things up about him not wanting to be apart of Marvel anymore. We can rest now. Here's the quote from Mandela himself:

"I was quite specifically talking about the comparison between playing Heimdall on one day, and playing Mandela on the next. That’s sloppy journalism, or just really bad misquoting. I have a great relationship with the Marvel team, and the character of Heimdall. People are really running with this thing like, 'Oh my God, he doesn’t want to be with Marvel anymore.' People thinking that comparing those roles means I don’t want to be with Marvel, well, that’s crazy."

I haven't seen that one yet. Will probably change my mind after a quick google image search.

Her and her chest looked cute. I wouldn't say no but not buying her dinner either unless it includes fries.
