I mean Marvel would have to start courting their new Spidey. Doubt they want Tobey.

The way I understand it is, Sony is doing their own thing where they choose somebody new as Spidey that's older for ASM3 and the future along with their expanded Spidey movieverse with all the spinoff movies and Marvel sort of leasing out use of their Spidey would be different person regardless that as of now would show up in cameos no longer starting with Civil War but some other stuff that might lead to their own solo Spidey movie.

Saw some of Evangeline Lilly's interview on Conan to promote the new hobbit movie. My goodness. She was looking so damn good. Her and Abigail Spencer would get everything. Marvel needs to put her in a bunch of stuff after Antman.

In an email from 2012, Marvel President Alan Fine explains to Tom Cohen (Marvel's VP of Production who acts as an intermediary between them and Sony) all of the problems with The Amazing Spider-Man 2. "I wanted to burn the draft after I read it, never mind thinking about buying the DVD."

She was my girl in Lost man. I'm kinda surprised her film career didn't get going right away after Lost.

The way I understand it is right now, Sony is doing their own thing going forward with their own plans where they choose somebody new as Spidey. This Spidey who would be older for ASM3 and and going forward who would also be apart of their expanded Spidey movieverse (the one their planning with the S6 movie, solo female movie, Venom, etc. I think as of right now most of those are still part of the plans even though they're not as confident as they use to be).


.... and Marvel if they make a deal with Sony for Spidey would basically be sort of leasing out use of Spide-Man. I assume that Spidey would be a different person regardless (of what Sony does). Marvels plans which we saw in past rumor articles that as of now would show up in cameos in Marvel projects (movies, tv shows) but it wouldn't be no longer starting with Civil War but some other stuff that might lead to their own Marvel solo Spidey movie.
