WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Lily never really quit man.

She wasn't all that well known before LOST which was tv. She wasn't in movies heavy. Plus since her semi retirement she's joined one huge movie franchise and entered a huge cinematic multi-billon dollar universe  Them other dudes and chicks from LOST wish they were doing it like that in retirement.
I age like wolverine cuz black dont crack. I look almost a decade younger than I actually am.
You're actually 10? :wow:

Mike Colter to Star as Luke Cage in Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones

Marvel and Netflix are proud to announce that Mike Colter will star as Luke Cage in "Marvel's A.K.A. Jessica Jones," an all-new 13-episode series premiering on Netflix in 2015 following "Marvel's Daredevil."

During the course of an investigation in New York City, private investigator Jessica Jones encounters the enigmatic Luke Cage – a man whose past has secrets that will dramatically alter Jessica in ways she could never have imagined.

Colter will star opposite Krysten Ritter, who plays the title role in “Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones.”

“Mike embodies the strength, edge and depth of Luke Cage,” said Executive Producer/Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg. “We're excited to have him bring this iconic Marvel character to life.”

"Fans have longed to see Luke Cage and in Mike we’ve found the perfect actor,” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer/Marvel's Head of Television. "Viewers will get to meet Luke Cage in ‘Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones,’ and experience why he is such an important super hero in the Marvel mythos.”

Colter is currently starring in the XBox original series “Halo: Nightfall” as Jameson Locke. He has appeared in a number of critically-acclaimed television series, including “The Good Wife” and “American Horror Story: Coven.”

After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.

This is a good look. No matter, I hope they add some grey streaks in his hair.

I don't remember where and when I read it, but I think I remember that Strange might be exploring alternate realities. If so, Wonder what we'll see.

String Theory, Quantum Mechanics, and Parallel Dimensions were topics or aspects I heard was going to be touched upon in the film

That last pic of Venom and Mania is definitely not Mike Del Mundo. It's Declan Shavley.
I have a bit of some free time this week, will be sure to check out Superior Spidey comics and also Spider Gwen
Gwen's not in much yet but what's out there is good so far, one of the issues of Edge of Spider-Verse and Spider-Verse, a bit in Spider-Woman, and mainly in Amazing Spider-Man until her own book next year.

Ben looks good as Strange. Seems to fit well. Given what he's known for they if he wanted he could stay as Strange for a pretty long tenure. If the movie deals with quantum physics and the multiverse, basically approaching magic as a type of science most humans haven't figured out yet I'd love it.

Any word on who is writing the screenplay for the Dr. Strange movie? :nerd:

Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer wrote it and was rewritten by Jon Speihts

They don't matter. As long as Feige tha God is looking over these projects, I haz faith.

Emily Blunt on Cap Marvel role:

"It’s funny ‘cause I’m hearing this Captain Marvel thing from a lot of people," Emily Blunt told Collider in a recent interview when asked about the buzz surrounding her and that Marvel Studios role. "I have no official offer, whatsoever. No one’s called. I don’t know where the hell it’s come from, in all honesty. For me, I just think that the part has gotta be awesome. I just want to play great parts, and it’s sometimes hard to find within those big superhero movies. The female parts are not usually great, but recently, they’ve been better. I don’t know. It has to be the right thing."

And is it just me or do you hear her accent or read it with an accent on your head when reading her quote?

^^Yup and sometimes when I'm talking to a Brit, I'll accidentally speak in my terrible fake British accent out of nowhere

After reading Captain Marvel volume 1, I can no longer picture Emily Blunt as Danvers. I think we need a younger, more fiery spirited sorta actress to fit the independent, I don't know my place in the world yet vibe.
