WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Not sure if this counts as a spoiler but whatever
When BP jumped down the flight of stairs without his costume on. The look on his face. His whole dismeanor was so boss. Perfect casting!
That's what I meant when I referenced Vienna a few pages back.

But after watching again it was in Berlin.

To me that was his best fight scene.

His whole swag was off the meters.

THIS.

I'M NIGERIAN AND COULD UNDERSTAND HIM PERFECTLY. HIS PROTRAYAL OF AN AFRICAN ACCENT WAS DECENT BUT I COULD DEF TELL HE WAS A BIT OFF AT TIMES.

I was really worried about his accent in the weeks leading up to the movie but it was so dope. Chadwick Boseman is a shooting star! When he just pops up at the airport and is like "Captain" :wow: I'm like this ***** is a Terminator! How Marvel was able to capture the essence of him being scary yet regal is just insane...

How'd you feel about the language last night? If some of those Marvel dudes were NTers they'd be banned status

For me, I have no problems at all

But I just wonder if it'll prevent some repeat business with some families

When spiderman yelled "Holy ****!" is literally when then movie took off and never looked back

The movie is about to make a killing. I wouldn't be surprised if the film makes more next weekend then this weekend. The word of mouth for the airport scene is going to catch wildfire.

Vision & Wanda...?

Is Vis capable of love now? Thought that was a little weird.

Vision was real deal trying to finesse Wanda out the draws  Hawkeye coming out of nowhere was so ill. Everybody was amazing in this film

...damn near the whole cast was capin' for Wanda.

Agreed. Dude is lucky this is his movie

I have no problem IM trying to kill those 2 lovers. They belong together.

Any TEAM CAP here could chime in re the main plot? how the hell could you root for this dude after this movie. Serious question
Word. Everything they thought was the case with the plot was wrong. Wasn't no huge conspiracy with a bad guy in the government or even anybody hunting down Bucky to kill him. Even framed, just bring yourself in with Cap so things can be sorted out. Especially when its Tony and your fellow Avengers getting the chance to do it before some wet works team is sent in.

So being brainwashed and controlled by others doesn't give you an excuse?
Nope. He'd at least be getting life imprisonment.
In the comics tony was wrong..

In this tony was practical.. We live in a world with laws for a reason

There are more special people in the world than were just in that room.. Cap literally only saw the world as he thought it would apply to a handful of people

He saw it as a constricting thing that literally removed any freedom of choice he/they had.. Instead he should have simply looked at is as society requiring a doctor to have a medical license before he can practice that thing

Cap took the hardline.. numerous olive branches were extended to him.. But the only time he legit sat down to discuss was the very first instance

And considering what we saw of the 5 other WS that were left alive him and Bucky would have got washed.. But he never actually went to the other avengers and tried talking to them about what was going on

Only person who actually knew what was going on with cap was falcon.. Agent 13 knew some, but who knows if she knew everything.. Who knows if BW knew everything.. Same for WS
I don't think Cap thinks all law is restricting their freedom. Just the Sikovia Act. Like cap said the UN is made up of people. People with agendas. So what if the Avengers are used to fulfill those agendas. If they chose not to then they're "criminals".  I think that's what he meant by restricting their freedom of choice.
If they chose not to they're retired. That was specifically told to Cap and Falcon.

BOX OFFICE: CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Just Falls Short Of BATMAN v SUPERMAN On Thursday Evening
BOX OFFICE: CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Just Falls Short Of BATMAN v SUPERMAN On Thursday Evening
The numbers are in for Captain America: Civil War's debut in North America last night, and Marvel's first Phase 3 movie is off to a strong start. However, it couldn't quite top Batman v Superman's haul...

Captain America: Civil War looks set to have a massive opening weekend in North America, but it appears as if overwhelmingly positive reviews weren't quite enough to help the Marvel movie top the anticipation moviegoers had to see the first big screen meeting between the Caped Crusader and Man of Steel in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. That earned $27.7 million during Thursday evening showings, whereas Captain America: Civil War fell slightly short with a still amazing $25 million haul.

To put that into context, Captain America: The Winter Soldier earned only $10.2 million back in April 2014, but went on to gross over $714.4 million worldwide. While this result isn't necessarily an indication that Captain America: Civil War will earn over twice as much, chances are it will, especially as the movie is already closing in on $300 million worldwide after reaching both the US and China.

The Hollywood Reporter mentions that many analysts expect an eventual $1.4 billion haul, while a $200 million debut still seems likely this weekend. If it does manage to reach that benchmark figure, it will have one of the top five highest grossing domestic openings of all-time folowing Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($248 million), Jurassic World ($208.8 million), The Avengers ($207.4 million), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($191.3 million), and Iron Man 3 ($174 million). Have you seen Civil War yet?

Something tells me this is going to turnout okay...

Lol no worries. Avengers 1 only had an 18 million Thurs and still had a 200 mil weekend.

Anyone noticed whenever Cap was on the radio with Falcon he used his government name?

Before they were fugitives.

They're supposed to be trained in covertness.

Going tonight. Been avoiding this thread like the plague, but I just wanna know how are we looking for mid/post credit scenes? Do I wait or nah?

Anyone else seeing how Aunt Hottie comes into the picture right when Pepper exits stage left? Even when Tony is taking L's he's winning smh

Not even mad if even a little but true. Just wondering where the hell they'd be able to fit it in

Maybe it'll take the dates for the dropped Inhumans movie?

As much as I love ScarJo, I'm good on a BW solo Movie.

Her role in CA:TWS was perfect and I like her as a supporting cast. And honestly, I don't even see a BW movie really happening.
