WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I loved Stan's cameo in this and I don't know how many more he's got in him, but I would love to see him in Spider-man: Homecoming as Black Fox. It could be the greatest Stan Lee cameo of all time. Have Spidey drop in while he's trying to heist something. Then grovel and beg Spidey to let him go until he eventually gets turned over to the authorities. :pimp:

Not even mad if even a little but true. Just wondering where the hell they'd be able to fit it in

Maybe it'll take the dates for the dropped Inhumans movie?
Nothing is taking the date of the Inhumans movie. It's a week before or after the Indiana Jones movie which is Disney.

Marvel isn't releasing anything to conflict with that. To keep with 3 movies a year, since this would be the start of phase 4 they're probably announce a sequel (to Dr. Strange or BP or GotG3) or something new like the BW movie for November.

As much as I love ScarJo, I'm good on a BW solo Movie.

Her role in CA:TWS was perfect and I like her as a supporting cast. And honestly, I don't even see a BW movie really happening.
It's not really about seeing it happen just if there's a story to tell. They got dope BW stories they can make if they want.
I honestly still feel the plot was flimsy, and underwhelming.

Giant feature length sparring match.

Hulk would've beat the breaks of Antman at the airport  .

Thor would've sided with Cap.

I just wish they established Cap's motives for protecting one friend over the other.

You think Hulk would side with Stark?
When they were looking to recruit ppl to stop Cap at the airpoirt Tony and Natasha talked about how Banner would not be down with any of this. Hence why he just dipped to be alone.

I don't think Thor would side with either. Besides he's not American or of Earth. He's not obligated to sign anything. They'd probably have to draft up a whole different piece legislation to form some sort of pact with the U.N. and Thor being an ambassador of Asgard. As far as the issue he'd definitely recognize the damage done and may even feel guilt like Tony but he literally has no reason to limit himself for humans and to follow their orders.

It really bleeds in to another issue, you either saying these ppl are super humans and don't have to abide by these laws or that they're powers don't make them exempt.
Captain Nazi did not want the Osama Bin Laden of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to face justice for his crimes against humanity. Rogers was no better than the government he was complaining, who was he to decide what adequate punishment Bucky should face
Word. He was talking about these ppl with agendas (couldn't give one example) while he has the most obvious bias agenda the whole movie  :smh:

THIS.

I'M NIGERIAN AND COULD UNDERSTAND HIM PERFECTLY. HIS PROTRAYAL OF AN AFRICAN ACCENT WAS DECENT BUT I COULD DEF TELL HE WAS A BIT OFF AT TIMES.

His accent > SW "accent". I think they just said F it, let the broad be her American self

Also AntMan killed it with the one liners

"I believe this is yours Captain America" after he gets his shield back

"SOMETHING WENT IN ME!" when Vision flew through him

Saw it last night, movie was incredible. It had slight faults, of course, but was overall very enjoyable. More than AoU, IMO.

Waiting for the GIF of Falcon and Bucky in the car after Cap's kiss

Kevin Feige Says Marvel Is "Committing" To Black Widow Solo Film

For years, Marvel fans have rallied around Black Widow and called for Scarlett Johansson's Avenger to get a solo movie like many of her teammates. "Captain America: Civil War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo have expressed interest in directing a solo Black Widow film, and actors Clark Gregg and Robert Downey Jr. are among those wondering why the super spy hasn't gotten her own film yet. Johansson's brought up the idea of a solo film before, as well. Even a poll conducted earlier this week by Fandango and USA Today shows that Black Widow is still the number one Avenger that fans want to see go solo. While Marvel has not officially announced "Black Widow," Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige had some new comments on the matter in a Q&A session with Deadline

When asked which character -- with Falcon, War Machine, Black Widow and Hawkeye being named -- was destined for a solo film, Feige mentioned Black Widow. "We’ve announced the next nine movies, ten counting 'Civil War,' through the end of 2019," said Feige. "Where we go beyond that are ongoing discussions that we’ll focus on in the next few years because we have a lot to do before then. Of the characters that you’ve just mentioned I would say certainly the one creatively and emotionally that we are most committing to doing is Black Widow."

Feige elaborated on his choice, saying, "We think she’s an amazing character. We think Scarlett Johansson’s portrayal of her is amazing. She’s a lead Avenger and has amazing stories in her own right to tell that we think would be fun to turn into a standalone franchise."

Scarlett Johansson debuted as Black Widow in 2010's "Iron Man 2" and followed that up with 2012's "Marvel's the Avengers." She partnered up with Captain America for 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and returned for 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." "Captain America: Civil War" marks Johansson's fifth appearance as Black Widow. It's not yet known where the character will appear next.

"Captain America: Civil War" is in theaters now.

The style of the action scenes were really good too. Everyone seemed to be moving at like 1.5x speed, and there were clever uses of their powers/abilities. I feel like the Marvel's action scenes have been getting stale and this felt really fresh.

Do we have any idea of the BP film would be an origin film? Or after CW

I want T'chaka and T'challa in the same movie. I felt like their presence was so strong even for that short scene. When they showed the KING the first time, i was like **** just got real

I assume after CW. CW was like an expedited origin story for him, which I liked. They pretty much explained his suit in one line. It would be cool for his solo film to just jump into the action, though they can include flashbacks to flesh out some parts.

I'd prefer this. It would be perfect, but I trust whatever direction they choose.

I want to see a post-CW film for BP, but you can't leave out T'Chaka and the importance of that relationship.

I'm personally not interested in a Black Panther origin story. Just rather let them go straight to the good stuff.
