at least 'starlord' was creative.. and obviously is far from a virgin

Typical. Thank you for the reminder about its release though. I'm actually a fairly big fan of First Class and Days of Future Past respectively and am looking forward to see how they close this trilogy out and also where it might be leading in terms of future films.

Marvel ain't playin. Goldblum as Grandmaster and Karl Urban as Skurge :pimp:

MCU out here reviving the Elders of the Universe like crazy.

About time they cast the Executioner. Where is Enchantress though?

Marvel Studios Confirms Stellar New Cast Members of the Highly Anticipated 'Thor: Ragnarok'

Two-time Oscar[emoji]174[/emoji]-winner Cate Blanchett joins Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok” as the mysterious and powerful new villain Hela, along with Jeff Goldblum who joins the cast as the eccentric Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson who will bring the classic hero Valkyrie to life on the big screen, and Karl Urban who will add his might to the fray as Skurge.

Rounding out the cast for the film is three-time Oscar[emoji]174[/emoji]-nominee Mark Ruffalo, reprising his role of Bruce Banner/the Hulk from “Marvel’s The Avengers” and Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

“The continuation of the epic Thor franchise will be powerful and unique, and with the additions of Cate, Jeff, Tessa, Karl, and Mark to the cast we have the makings of his most dangerous and heroic adventure yet,” said Producer Kevin Feige. “The sheer, raw talent each of these actors brings to the screen can’t be quantified. Having any one of them join the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be an honor, and having all of them is incredible."

Thor’s new cast members join returning stars Chris Hemsworth in the title role for the fifth time; Tom Hiddleston (“Crimson Peak,” “The Night Manager,” “Kong: Skull Island”) as Thor’s adversarial, adopted brother, Loki; Golden Globe[emoji]174[/emoji] and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Idris Elba as the Asgardian sentry, Heimdall; and Academy Award[emoji]174[/emoji]-winner Sir Anthony Hopkins again portraying Odin, Ruler of Asgard.

“Thor: Ragnarok,” the third installment of Marvel’s popular Norse Super Hero, is directed by Oscar[emoji]174[/emoji]-nominated filmmaker Taika Waititi.

We knew about Tessa for a couple weeks now.

Still though :pimp:

Almost thought that was her in Neighbors 2 but it's some other fine actress that could pass for her sister.

Marvel is where it's at to be casted.

Just hoping these actors don't get wasted ... ej. like Idris Elba, Natalie Portman, etc.

Anyone else think that it'd be really cool if the Thor movie opens up with Ross asking Cap: 'Tell me Cap, do you know where Thor and Hulk are right now?' and then it cuts to them fighting in the cosmos

Who would Jeff Goldblum play? Did I miss it?

Grandmaster
Ahh there goes my dream of him playing Mr. Fantastic. lol

I'm going to have to read up on Grandmaster. I really hope this next Thor film is the best out of three.

When I heard Dark World was directed by Alan Taylor...I was hoping more of GoT feel. Didn't really get that as much.

Also hope they explain how Banner gets to Asgard.
