WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

I don't think it would translate well either. One of the few who aint campaigning for a PH/WWH film
No less farfetched than anything else in the MCU. This statement points to nothing

Actually it points to the many people saying it would be Marvel's first flop and questioning how a movie about a talking raccoon and a tree was going to put ***** in seats.

All of Marvel is far fetched, exactly my point. So to say what won't work and what will when they prove over and over again that they can even make a movie about an actor playing the Mandarin cross the 1 billi mark is a waste of words. Let's just see what they do.

Dudes really acting like Marvel doesn't have the Midas touch minus whale chill. The game is locked.
But that wasn't public knowledge prior to the film releasing...

Like homie said earlier if it's not the intelligent Hulk and just the moaning, grunting one in the MCU so far it won't work because the movie won't really be able to produce any drama based around the central character.

Every MCU film has made money but that doesn't mean all of them have been good and that's what my focus is on

Just acknowledging the fact that a PH film doesn't sound like the smartest move on paper.. GOTG didn't either and it turned out to be great but that doesn't automatically sign me up for the rest of Marvel's future flicks.

Biggest question i have about it is how does it advance their overall story. Seems like they're entering a point where every standalone has major significance in expanding the overarching plot and i personally don't know how Planet Hulk will do that.

I imagine a situation where he's sent off somewhere and they use this as a way to crossover some of the cosmic stuff with what's going on here. Could be something with the inhumans, or he crosses path with the Guardians... hell i could even see something where he's sent to Asgard and they make a Hulk/Thor buddy film

Don't have the slightest idea but i'm interested in seeing where they take this.

Ryan Reynolds?

Reynolds would have killllledddd the role as Hawkeye, id what anyone says
in the minority here when i say I don't think he's the problem. He's gone on record saying he hasn't gotten the to truly play the guy he met with Marvel with yet so maybe that's part of the problem.

As for Reynolds :rolleyes we'll just give him Deadpool and act like all those other heroes he's played never happened

looking at the trailer it seems like the main city battle with ultron is in korea while the hulk ironman battle is in an american city

my guess is that its where that hydra dude at the end of cap 2 is hiding with QS and SW

it shows cap kicking the gates open so i doubt he would to that to dr strange's summer home

Oh I am about 99% certain it has nothing to do wtih Dr. Strange, it's just the first thought that came to mind because of how it looks and where it's located, very-temple-like on a hill.

oh right, gotcha

my first thought was that place bruce trained in BB before he went home to gotham to become batman

when i saw serkis i thought he was dr strange

I'm definitely feeling like Wakanda will play a role or at the very least be heavy named drop in film

anyone catch the shot of the cart being wheeled down a hallway then it cuts to a doctors hand picking up a needle from a tray of tools

maybe one of the avengers needs medical help so they rush him to the closest doctor which happens to be serkis' character

then ultron finds them in the struggle to escape the poor doctor's hands get crushed

wait if they cast denzel as BP

then have him fight and beat serkis' character

then yell "king kong aint got **** on me"

No it doesn't. We are not saying it would suck because it's farfetched.
