Saw it last night. I'll put how I felt about the movie in a spoiler tag and even then I'll try to keep it spoiler free.
I liked the first half of the movie. The next quarter of the movie was ok. The end stunk....so much so that it made me not like the movie as a whole.

i heard Apocalypse was severely misused. did you stay for after credits?
 
Planning to go see with film tomorrow. I enjoyed both First Class and Days of Future Past so i'm hopeful about this film as well as far as the storyline goes.

In my opinion everyone but Prof X and Mag was misused/overused. lol
If you don't care about spoilers, it's free for all in the X-Men thread so there are better analysis over there.

I feel like Cyclops finally got his due in a way. We finally see him throwing out orders and actually leading in some form and fashion. First time it felt like he was used well/correctly and wasn't too whiney :lol:

honestly im tired of all the films revolving around Wolverine. although i like the character, i want a fresh take on him. theres other XMen they can flesh out to keep using Wolverine. glad my boy got some shine... 8)

Xmen Apocalypse wasn't as good as it should've been. Still can't get over then ending, so forced. Claremont is rolling over in his California king bed.
 
Xmen Apocalypse was hot garbage! Hot ****** Garbage I tell you! how bad I think it was, Fantastic 4 rise of the silver surfer bad. SUPER SERIOUS! F U Fox Studios. Quicksilver was dope though.
 
How they just throw the Phoenix force in there outta nowhere. Jean is a new student at the school. She was on her first mission and unleashed the Phoenix force?! :x [\spoiler]

Claremont is rolling over potholes in his Bentley :smh:

Not saying y'all lying but I barely recall any of that. Don't recall much leadership skills from that character. Thought it was Mystique but I've never been a fan so maybe that's why I may have ignored it.

He didn't look like the leader of a team, but the leader of a group of friends trying to solve a problem if that makes sense haha. Like deciding to leave campus and go to the mall. 
Wasn't Scott the one that ask Night Crawler if he can get them in the chopper? That was a leader move and it seemed like he was leading them around Striker's base. I could be wrong but damn Zik. Scott needs a W. Don't take this away from him.

Also I could be completely wrong but I have no desire to see the movie again so I'll just take you're word for it.

Yeah, but the writer's doing everything he can to convince people it's serious and that there'll be repurcussions going forward. Like I said yesterday, Falcoln Cap vs Steve Cap is what the people wanna see :lol:
