Yes, yes it was. That being said i'll say that Ultimate Spider-Man at least was solid throughout the majority of its run. That was a writer who actually seemed interested in adapting old concepts for a new age and building something, without making the main character into a jerk.

I never looked at Namor as Asian.

I guess it depends on the artwork of the artist but I've always saw Namor as slightly Asian. Especially Coipel's artwork.

I love Mad Men, but January Jones was one of the weaker actors. I would cringe if Sue was portrayed anything like Betty Draper. She's still fine though.
