Can't be at those power levels given she had to team up with Dr. Doom to get that power in the first place.
Plus c'mon it's a movie. Would make no sense to make her all powerful in her introduction unless she was the villain.

I don't think he's going to be in the sequel at all. I don't think we'll see him until the 3rd time.
Filming has been going on for the sequel for a while now and he was just cast.

Also keep in mind that he has a small part in GotG and the filming on that has concluded for a long while now so either he has been filming on secret or he can just be added on reshoots and for A2, it isn't far fetch to put him in the film.
