WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Yuck :x They let Woodley go topless in a movie? No shame at all. Type of dudes that'd put their penis in anything :smh:

At this point, Sony should just give up. I really liked ASM2 and I believe it just came out at the wrong time, but with Suicide Squad movie coming out, this Sinister 6 film almost means nothing.

I read this over and over cuz it made no sense

The e-mails reveal extensive discussions between executives at Sony and Marvel owner Walt Disney
  WHAT?

Son been dead but is managing to have extensive e-mail discussions? That's the real scoop.

Probably the most important part:
The talks with Marvel eventually broke down and Sony is now planning to go ahead with its own Spider-Man slate, according to people familiar with the matter. As of late November, executives were planning a “Spidey summit” for January to discuss future plans. Among projects in development are an animated Spider-Man comedy that would be produced by Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the team behind “22 Jump Street” and “The Lego Movie,” as well as previously disclosed Spider-Man spin-offs focused on villain team Sinister Six, super-foe Venom, and women from the webslinger’s life.

Given this is the type of stuff lame likes to reference and run with I'm sure he'll either be in denial or counter with an equally wild article. Probably go ghost for a while just to come up with his next crazy idea, this time using Marvel trading cards and a Marvel app as evidence that Spidey will be in Infinity War.

lol. It said in the article that they were not able to come to an agreement. Prolly cuz Marvel doesnt want that steaming pile of **** that Sony calls a cinematic universe to be mangled with the excellence that Marvel pisses.

I was thinking the same thing. Not to mention the Captain Marvel movie would make any female spidey movie look like a pile of **** in comparison (though it would likely be a pile of **** in and of itself).

Venom is the only thing they have going for them and its the project they put on the backburner :smh:

 You think this based off what?

This is where the madness begins.

Because I don't think Marvel would pass up an opportunity to have their biggest hero and star of their universe in there insanely and increasingly popular interconnected movie universe...especially when they're in the position to steer the negotiation

Yeah, it's a wrap for Sony. The only thing they can truly do is a standalone Spidey movie, and it'll have to be damn near perfect. The Deadpool movie takes away steam from the Venom movie, so they really have nothing fresh to go with. I pray they don't get desperate and after the third Spiderman film, they introduce Miles just to keep the rights. I'd be hot.

So just pure conjecture despite what's being said. Forget that it might not be worth it if SONY still owns the film rights.

Mind you it's taking SONY getting their e-mails hacked for this to be out there

Yeah Sony asking Marvel to make Spidey films while retaining film rights seems like what Disney is doing to them with the SPidey merchandise, just sit there and gather cash while the other do the work.

Maybe this is why Walt unfroze himself from his cryogenic sleep?

 at you choosing which parts of the article to believe when convenient. I thought you dismissed all these articles...

Let's just consider this for one second....at the very least, Sony and Disney have talked about this.

I do, that's evident by me pointing out the Walt Disney part, but I'm purposely stooping down to your level and asking you how do you explain this and/or will you accept this. You've chosen denial apparently.

I'm not choosing which parts of the article to believe either. It states that Walt Disney is part of the talks for the crossover, that from the SONY side they basically want a deal where Marvel studios funds the movie and place it in their cinematic universe while they collect a check, in other hacked Sony e-mails it's said Marvel wanted Spidey for the Civil War movie, and the very last paragraph which I posted in this thread says the talks have broke down and Sony has moved on to start planning their expansion of Spider-Man universe. So where did I conveniently choose to "believe" certain parts of the article? :nerd:

I'm simply using your own type of "evidence" to combat your nonsense. You're either accepting this article or you gonna come to the land of the logical and rationale and ditch your entire ridiculous idea altogether.

Miles is the only thing I would want to see out of the spideyverse.

They dont have to do anything to retain the rights (I dont think). The renegotiations made it so they can keep the film rights and Disney keeps the merch rights. At least according to current rumors. As much as Marvel would want the spidey rights back, Disney truly only cares about the Merch. Sony currently finances and advertises these movies and all Disney has to do is have toys available for sale by the time the movie gets out. They spread Sony's cheeks with that deal.

So apparently the Inhumans were introduced in AoS last night

Now I have to watch an episode of that ****** show because I want to see how they did it.

You got to watch the whole season at the least to get the full effect. Hell I'd even say Season 1 one as well to get the full story. It's a slow burn but definitely worth it in the end.

I just hate the fact that AOS comes on at the same time as Flash. Now since their on winter break , I will be able to catch up to yesterdays episode. I'm Looking forward to Agent Carter though.
