This is random, but I was thinking what route would Marvel go if Samuel L. Jackson stepped down as Fury. They'd probably have something happen causing him to change his look bringing in the Caucasian version. Who would be a good fit for that version?

They'd just kill Nick Fury in the movie and prop up another black character.

As far as the SHIELD connect or spy boss in the shadows, perhaps Coulson takes over.

Doubt they bring in/back white Nick.

Fury ain't going nowhere unless Sam passes away. Sam all about his money. They should just give it to Phil tho.

Lol, they'd probably put Maria Hill or Coulson in charge and keep it moving
At this point of the MCU, is Maria Hill currently working for Stark Industries?

Lol yep, that's right. I'm assuming that's only until the day Shield re-ups
That's the funny thing and I'm waiting for the movies to make sense with the show. Technically SHIELD never stopped. Just got smaller.

Guess Maria is too good for such a small outfit being run in some basement. Hell, now I remember there was an AOU ep covering her working for Stark and not Coulson.

They didn't have to explain when banner or war machine were re-casted.
The thing is who would even measure up.

I think everybody in the back of their head as fans and as the ppl making this know the day they replace RDJR as Tony Stark - unless they get an amazing actor that's just as good as RDJR to replace him - Tony Stark is going to take a backseat fame wise and won't be the focus he use to be. Things will probably naturally move on to other ppl anyway.

So you look at Fury and his kind of minimized role, unless you get someone that has the presence Sam has Fury will most likely be not accepted the same.

Word is that a few of the AOS people are appearing in AOU, so there's that. Not having Maria Hill on AOS is a letdown. We're pretty much not going to see her used to her potential in these films, so putting her on the show makes sense. Plus, Colbie Smulders isn't a big film actress, so I believe she should be available.

I hope whoever they use to replace Tony isn't a clone.
