WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

My bad, forgot it was Lang, who by the way is one of my favorite characters in this film. More likeable in this than his solo film.

Really? I didn't find him to be any different to be honest. And with the solo film naturally focusing on him I thought it gave you a better view of who he is as a person overall. More depth.

I guess likeable wasnt the best word. His role in this was jusy better than his role in his solo film imo.

The more I think about the more Cap really just had no ground to stand on this entire movie

Like if it weren't for him trying to hunt down the other Winter Soldiers he would have no argument

Talmbout "the safest hands are still our own" son really just wants to act with no impunity or oversight right after 12 Wakandans get blown the **** up and hundreds of previous non-combatant fatalities. Bruh you just inserted yourself, on your own authority, into a sovereign African nation and just started killing people  where dey do dat at?

Getting mad that Wanda was kept on lockdown until the situation cooled down  bruh she blew up a building, accidentally or otherwise. You don't get to just walk around after that **** :x

"Dude your teamate accidentally blew up 12 Africans while acting as a counterterrorist fighter with no actual authority. I think there needs to be some oversight or accountability here."

Cap: "Naw man I'm cool"

Son is a moron

That's fair. The Giant Man thing was nice to see and I appreciated that they didn't tone down his comedic nature just because it was a serious/dark situation. Definitely looking forward to his next film, though it's a long way off

You saw the amount of times tony tried to explain to him various options, right?

Cap only saw it 1 way (which was wrong) and then was distracted by everything going on with Bucky to even try and think of another alternative from his initial views

Also given how it was presented on screen, Steve would have never had a chance to actually read the whole document.. Let alone comprehend it

When he became Giant Man and his eyes lit up and was like whoaaa, i was rollin on the inside. Like dying. It's the small things that make this movie great for me. Shows the power humor can have in these films

Also, RDJ deserves a lot of credit for his portrayal. I was like damn when he had that comedic moment with Peter and got serious when he turned to Cap.

Did Cap even read the Accords?

seriously font remember
Of course, not lol.

I feel like the only Avenger that actually read it was Stark...I bet, he had his AI read the accords to him. lol

Yep. They did a good job throwing a decent amount of comedy into this I thought.

RDJ's performance was excellent. Perfectly nailed the character's typicaly snarkiness, while also showing the extent to which Tony Stark has changed over time. He then added a decent blend of comedy into the mix, while being careful to not have it undermine anything else. Furthermore, I thought that every emotion he was attempting to convey came off well. That scene before the fight at the airport where his voice cracked as he was telling Steve he was trying to save lives really worked for me. Same with the previous convo between the two over the Accords, before Bucky escaped.

Cap stans don't wanna hear this tho. They're just being team Cap for the sake of being team cap  :smh:

Steve full well expected to be pursued. He clearly says they're operating illegally and will all be wanted. Steve knew both Tony and Natasha signed the accords. He also knows T'Challa wants Bucky dead.

I said it before but there was some lightening of gravity of the situation along with Lang not thinking it through making the dumb decision.
This implication that old *** Hank Pym has some grudge or issues with Tony Stark is completely made up.

Pym told Lang not to trust a Stark based off what happened in the past with him, Howard, and the rest of SHIELD in regards to his Pym particles.

Either way Steve didnt expect to be ambushed by Stark and his squad and fighting them at the airport, so to say he fooled Lang into fighting them is off base. And it's is extremely likely he was up to date with the entire situation.
He wasn't ambushed though.

Y'all know what these words mean? The whole way they were trying to get to that hangar was suspect.

If he really didn't expect to be stopped at all the entire team would've walked to the quinjet in regular clothes with those brandless caps and shades on.

Cap already had the team split up and placed in strategical areas while Falcon was escorting Bucky to the hangar on that long *** walk way while Cap tried to draw attention to himself.

Y'all should really rewatch the beginning of the airport scene if you really think Cap wasnt expecting something.

Scott wasn't aware they were about to fight other Avengers at all. I'm not buying Steve is so dumb that as he is on the run and operating illegally he doesn't consider every single person he has on his side risks getting shot at, beat up, and pursued by the Avengers.

Nope.

I don't even think he touched the thing. Wanda or Natasha at least pretended to flip through it. Rhodey gave a page or 2 a good look. Steve heard the concept and was immediately not down no matter the logic and reasoning.

Story didn't imply at all he read it off screen in between scenes where things were still being set up.

Y'all should really rewarch the beginning of the airport scene if you recall think Cap wasnt expecting something.

Hes on the run and looking for the Winter soldiers, why wuld4nt they be suited up? He didnt expect Tony and his squad to be there at that moment. If he did he wouldn't have went there kn the first place. Scott knew the deal.

They weren't suited up in the parking lot when they fooled Scott in to this.

They were suppose to go on the quinjet and fly to ******* Russia from Germany. That's at least 2 hrs even on a quinjet. Plenty time to change clothes.

If you really think there's no chances you'll be pursued rocking your iconic costume is a great way to get noticed at an airport.

Yes he did. Right after Bucky tells them about the other super winter soldiers, Steve is like should we tell Tony and Sam is like nah he won't believe us. Steve just accepts that premise as is and they move in to recruiting ppl with Sam saying he knows a guy.

Next scene is Hawkeye taking Wanda and her stopping Vision.

So from that alone you think Steve or anybody else in his side except clueless sleeping Scott that Tony isn't coming in Tthehe name of the U.N. and the accords?

Watch it again.

He did and that's why he had the team split up around the airport trying to get to the hangar. That then changed to different spots for them to show up and attack.

John Boyega in BP? Basically just rounding up all of black Hollywood lol.

*waits for Denzel Washington and Will Smith rumors

I dont need to watch it again. Obviously they're on the run and know that the government is on their back. That doesnt mean Cap and company expects for Tony to find him in that exact area and be prepared to fight then and there. If they expected Tony to be there as soon as they got there theres no reason for them to be having all that dialogue in the parking lot with Sharon, and that bromance between him and Steve. If they expected Tony at the Terminal, you would think they would be in more of a hurry to board the quinjet and not bs around. Falcon and WS being aligned the way they were at the hangar has nothing to do with preparing for a fight. He placed them there after they found out Tony was there. I find it hard to believe that after a long van ride, Lang wouldn't be informed on the whole situation.

Yo if Morgan Freeman pops up its super lit as the kids say.

Side note he didn't pop until he was in his 50s which I thought was cool. Like son lived a whole life then became a movie star.

Tony Starks. One of the smartest man in the world wasn't going to find out where they were exactly. It Capt didn't think that into consideration, he's anneven worse leader than I've imagined.

Hell even that simple point shows that Capt doesn't strategically plan out any mission. He sees the start and the finish. Never accounts for any variance which is why explosions like the one in Wakanda occur.
