WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

My dream was to see this on the silver screen :frown:

latest
I'm trying to remember but is this just promotion art for some Ultimate event?

I don't recall this happening in the Ultimate comics  I can only remember one big fight on the White House lawn.

A bit doubtful this would've ever happened in the movies unless you're swapping out Kitty for Agent 13 or Black Widow.

Oh, ok. If they're making parker a young, high school kid, is the morales character around the same age in the comics?
When Peter gets first bitten in the Ultimate comics Miles is like 2 or 3 years younger than him.

In the new MU, Peter is like 13 years older than the 15 or 16 yr old Miles.

Did they just play it on some small tv against a wall? Funny seeing people just walk by like it was a hallway.

Ever since he actually got to sit down with Marvel he's been hinting like crazy it's Black Bolt.

Before that he was way off the mark reposting ps pics of him as the Vision

Vin knows how to play the game with the hype machine and word games. I won't knock him.

He's currently setting the illusion up that his movie the Witch Hunter is so good the sequel is already okayed and the script is being written  He's at NYCC so he gotta put in the work. He's even had some comments to set the stage for his return to the XXX "franchise" as it tries to come back with another sequel after the failed Ice Cube 2nd installment.

Overall I think it helps that he's likable, is in FF that everybody loves which he is basically the leader of, and nobody gets out of pocket with what Vin Diesel brings to a movie. You won't be getting arguments that he's better than Leo or he should be nominated for anything. He doesn't have the rep for being an A-list douche. If anything I'd say the modern day actor trying to be an action star is aiming for Vin's career.

If he doesn't talk it's fine by me.

I can't stand Josh Brolin's football player accent as Thanos. Dude sounds completely NOT like an intergalactic conquering evil deity

William Dafoe, Ian Mckellen, Heath Ledger, and James Spader ruined the supervillain voice game for dudes who ain't got that shine

:rolleyes Brolin sounds perfect to me

Gunn was doing a Q&A on Facebook the other day and seems the bring up the now defunct "Creative Committee"

"There was a group of people at Marvel who had a lot of ideas how things were suppose to be that aren't there any more,"

To put it in context, he was talking about how when he was first brought on board to do GoTG Thanos was the original villain but he changed it to Ronan. After that he wanted to keep Thanos in the film in some capacity as a bridge for people who saw the first Avengers and had no idea who the guy at the end was.

It was mentioned after the CC was broke up that GoTG was one of the films they sent the most notes on so I can only imagine how annoying that was.

Full video:

The actual news from this is that Thanos was the first bad guy and he was had to change their minds, which seems surprising considering how it's reported that MCU directors have little creative control.

He also talks about how he was really interested in using The Watchers and Kang but can't and the decision to kill Ronan wasn't his.

And I'm glad they replaced Thanos with the filler villain Ronan

Would not have done Thanos any good to have been washed by a bunch of nameless chumps with no powers
