WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

comic book related, civil war 2

In today's issue #5, it was revealed that an adult Miles Morales ultimately ends up killing Captain America. There's no context here or explanation as to why he would take out the star spangled superhero, but this explains why solicitations have mentiioned Spider-Man being on the run. We don't even know for sure if Miles is in the costume, but that doesn't stop Carol from trying to arrest him!

You'd think that after arresting a woman who was supposedly working for Hydra and carrying a briefcase with a weapon inside only to find out that she wasn't doing either of those things would have raised a few warning bells about this ****. But I see that **** McGee Danvers continues to be trash in this event :smh:

Son. What is going on with CW2?

They made Hawkeye a cold blooded killer and made him murder Bruce.

Now Miles is murdering Cap? :wow:

I'm not even reading CW2, but I bet that new body jumping Inhuman Mosaic took over Miles' body. I remember in the Marvel Now previews they had Cap opposite him.

Miles wouldn't do that. He wouldn't leave Genghi behind lol
How is the new Civil War storyline though?

How is the new Civil War storyline though?

@FreshLikeWill New storyline is "meh" to me. The basic idea about an Inhuman that can see the future and then whether or not to use this ability to stop threats or whatever seems overblown for one, because numerous characters beforehand have shown the ability to see the future. I'm then not sure why exactly this new guy would be such a big deal. It would be like if people went crazy over some new guy in an armored suit when Iron Man and Dr. Doom have been around for years. It's the type of story element that just doesn't make that much sense. It's made even worse because time and time again we have seen that there is no set future in the Marvel Universe. There are possible futures, so, to me, everyone on Carol Danvers side kind of looks like an idiot. This is made even worse again because recently Tony pointed out this very thing to Carol and she basically blew him off.
So that stuff about Miles killing Captain America? That's a possible future, with there being no context as to what happened to make that event take place. The issue just had everyone see the vision and then it ends with Carol placing Miles under arrest because of it. And that is the exact same **** she's been doing this entire time. Miles going crazy in the future, becoming, a villain, and beating Captain America to death with his bare hands is literally just as likely as Captain America going evil in that future and Miles being forced to stop him because he was going to kill a lot of people or some ****. The thing is you have no idea, because there is, again, no context. She's then basically just telling this kid, who is like 13-15 and is a known hero that he's under arrest because of something she now believes he's going to do, even though every single bit of his behavior before now has shown him as being someone who wouldn't just randomly kill Captain America.
Despite that, **** McGee Danvers is out here acting as if these visions are 100% accurate. She has consistently made bad decision after bad decision and i'm really not sure why she's even in charge anymore.

What's that you say?! There's a vision of the Hulk killing the Avengers? Well then obviously we should gather all the Avengers, roll up on Bruce Banner's doorstep, and accuse him of plotting to kill the Avengers. That couldn't possibly go wrong. What's that?! Hawkeye killed Bruce Banner before he transformed and therefore killed a man when all he did was get annoyed at us for showing up on his doorstep with an army? Nonsense, we couldn't possibly be wrong. Speak up lad, I can't here you! Bruce Banner was cured from the Hulk within his own series and could specifically not have transformed into the Hulk if he wanted to? Who cares, Hawkeye assures us that he saw Banner about to transform. Nevermind the fact that Vision and numerous other heroes with more heightened senses and eyes didn't see it. :rolleyes :smh: It seems to be going right over Carol's head that she is the instigator in this situation. Like ***** this literally would not have happened had you just sat at your house and played a game of Spades  There are any number of ways that situation could have been handled better and given Bruce's history of Hulking out it should have been handled better. Every single person on Carol's team that let that **** happen took an L :smh:

Carol has honestly just gotten worse as time has gone and I don't really see how she's supposed to come out of this event looking like the good guy, especially when i'm getting the feeling that Tony Stark is going to die.

That N too old right now lol

i think he could play miles right now but like for 2 movies. clean shaved glover looks young. they would have to film back to back though
Miles is like 15 or 16.

There literally is no older Miles even in his 20s in comics.

How you just gonna cast a 30 yr old dude to play him? This aint the tv shows. Miles will be in the movies and they'll adapt right out the comics.

I still think the empire dude looks the part. Lets just hope he'd drop the rap act. Get a bit more acting lessons then bam

I think everyone should just let go of the idea of Donald Glover playing any Spider-Man.

Curious to see what his role is in the movie though.

Completely forgot that the Agent Carter show is nixed. Hayley needs work on that accent but I'll watch her new show anyway

That kid is like ten. He's cool though if you guys are cool with waiting five years
they haven't had the first MCU spiderman movie yet.. going assume this aint happening tomorrow

how old is miles again?

plus these actors don't actually play their age anyways

Holland is playing a 15 year old Spidey when he is already 20 years old
