No in the initial escape but when Ronan's men got there they killed everyone.

Yeah, i'm not sure who made that but taking Alderaan into accoun there's no way that's accurate. Though maybe since you only saw the planet explode they're counting that as off-screen?

Yeah, that's why I wouldn't count it. Just a show of power for Death star 2.0.
Not a single person was shown on any of those planets.
Forgot about ANH. Guess they didn't show the ppl on that planet either.
