The leather jackets were fine for everyday clothing and unexpected fights or two recruit a new mutant to the school but when they went out on a mission like to the Weapon X facility or the statue of Liberty they should've been in costume.

Cyclops, Storm, and Wolverine especially.

That movie failed financially so in their minds it was probably because he never took off the mask

Why am I starting to think, that Ronda Rousey might be a dark horse for Captain Marvel :nerd:

She's charming on talk shows and prettier than I expected after she dresses up

She'd need to cut for the role though, which I bet she'd be willing to do. She seems to want it pretty badly.

Most importantly, she can't act.

She's not getting the role. It would be self-sabotage if she did.

Also famous ppl begging and lobbying for roles in public via social media needs to stop. Now talentless hacks are doing it and being taken seriously and getting support by their fans not cuz they'd be good for the role but cuz their fans will blindly support them.

It's one thing for Tom Hanks to say he'd love to do one but nobody has offered and for Cranston to say he wants to be Mr. Sinister but Rousey as Cap Marvel cuz what? She fights for a living and really wants to crossover in to doing movies? Nah go be in that Mortal Kombat remake or try getting a Street Fighter movie started.

I don't know anything about her acting. Haven't seen anything of her outside of Fast 7. Just watched the entourage clip now. But it cut off. Did Turtle get that date? Lmao

If he tapped out, means he didn't want the p bad enough

Im actually with you on this. Yea shes not a trained actress but she can learn. She wouldnt be the only brute/jock turned actor *cough vin diesel...channing tatum**

She is very charming i love her personality id give her a chance.

We know she can cut up. Idk. Id put her on the list
 
Y'all would be terrible casting directors. Taking a major risk on your first female standalone super hero film.

She can't act. We'll see if she can even carry a film as the lead in the Road House remake.

1. It's Marvel people are going to watch and CM can have either Guardians in her movie and/ or Avengers....
2. she has 3/4 years to train in acting...
3. she's a hard worker
4. If it's not going to be Emily Blount.... (which i didnt want anyway) then who cares... unless they can re invent Adrienne palicki.. I don't give a damn.

People didn't think he could look like a Super Hero no one was concerned about his acting ability.

Rudd has been acting since 1992 and has been in many films and tv shows, has been nominated and won awards for acting.

Just because she can perform in the octagon doesn't mean she can become a good actor.

Ragnar from Vikings was just a model who was discovered
Ashton Kutcher, model who was discovered


You dont need to be a part of an acting school to be a "good" actor.....you learn, just like everything else in life. you work hard you can achieve.
 
What's there to explain?

All those people named have been acting for 10+ years and are popular because of what they've done on screen.

Will Smith was a rapper before he started acting. What do actors do that a rapper also does? Remembering lines and reciting them.

It is true that someone can become a decent, good or even great actor but it won't happen over night or in 4 years.

So why would Marvel/Disney who are known for great casting choices, take a gamble with their first female led super hero film?

Because they like the way she conducts interviews and she works hard in the gym? :stoneface: :lol:
 
Maybe she hasnt been great or had limited lines in her movies. but she's been in movies for a couple of years now. im sure she's been getting trained in acting for longer than the 3/4 years til when this movie comes out.

his first serious major movie role enemy of the state was 1998. (when was bad boys 1?)

thats only 8 years and they gave him a chance...

I dont count the fresh prince as acting mastery on his part...
he was 1/3 himself. 1/3 comedic 1/3 acting/dramatic

Give her a chance.
first major female role or not it's not like Captain Marvel is as Iconic as Wonder woman, so I dont expect people to really expect the best and brightest.
and again she'll have the other heroes in her movie... no way it's only goign to be about her.
