WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

People like to talk about super hero fatigue and then I go on the internet and I see anticipation for a Punisher movie, or a ghost rider appearance and im flabbergasted...

While I wouldn't say im tired of these movies, I no longer get a charge of seeing x comic character on film. I can't imagine why anyone thinks we need ghost rider or a hulk x wolverine appearence.

Seems to me people still just lke seeing this stuff depicted on film and that we are still a long way off from super hero fatigue being a problem for marvel.

I don't think comic book geeks aka this thread ever going to get tired of cbm.

It's the rest of the world that we'd need to worry about

Re-watched the film last night and that supposed easter egg of the "Iron Spider" armor didn't look like it to me. Looked more like a mini-model of a cadever detailing the muscle and bone structure.

But, it could have Beta Ray Bill. So who knows? Haha.

Also, when Thor had his vision and discovered the Inifinity Stones, did he just learn that they existed and knew about someone plotting to gather them? To me, it seems he didn't know Thanos is behind all this.

im not so sure about that.

how many people in this thread regularly read comics? Im skeptical about the amount of people who post about comics on tumblr, facebook, ect ect, really read comics more than occasionally?

I love comics as an art form and Im pretty tired opf these films but I go see it not out of a love of comics but more about an intrest in the movie industry. I think people overstate the loyalty of supposed comic book geeks, seems to that is a tiny group of people.

It seems as though Thor had knowledge on the gems but the vision was some type of foresight as to items appearing in the universe that offered the gems a disguise

Question:
Since when did Thanos have the gemless gauntlet in his posession?

If anything, I'm trying to emphasize the importance of the casual fan. The day the casual fan tires of these movies, the day cbm go into remission.

Cbm always going to be around, but the momentum Marvel has going can't be kept up indefinitely.

The ppl constantly bringing up superhero fatigue or that the superhero movie bubble will burst are the ppl thinking way too hard about this stuff.

On the flip side though, the ppl bringing up a Punisher movie or Ghost Rider showing up in the MCU are not following every single damn detail of Marvel news and rumors like some other ppl are.

There's really no kind of contradiction if you just pay attention to who is posting. Besides that though, there is no superhero fatigue on the horizon. Only the possibility of studios getting lazy, making trash superhero movies, and then ppl trying to blame it on superhero fatigue.

There will always be a huge demand for action movies. The fact that they are inspired by comic book movies doesn't change anything.

John wick is a great movie and could easily have been a punisher movie. The dudes in furious 7 were surviving things that super heroes couldn't walk away from.

As long as the movies continue to be good there will be no super hero fatigue

Not entirely sure if RFX45 reported it already (probably did), but A3 and A4 are going to be shot completely in IMAX :nerd:

They're going to shoot 15 minutes of CA3 in IMAX to test out the new camera first.

I always go IMAX 3d but I think for A3 and A4 I'm just going to watch good ol' regular 2d IMAX to see how shooting in the new cameras turn out.

TBH, when i saw both trailers prior to AOU.. i thought it was very " meh " ... people reacted during the thomas the train scene but otherwise it was underwhelming IMO...or everyone is just eager to see AOU

Yea i think it was moreso cuz thomas the train

they're gonna be shot with new digital IMAX cameras. 100% sure it will only be in IMAX 3D

They'll be shooting in IMAX but converting it to 3d in post

I don't think you can shoot in IMAX and 3d

IMAX and Arri, another film equipment company, have developed a new 2D digital IMAX camera that’s much lighter and easier to use than previous models. Joe and Anthony Russo, who are directing Infinity War, will shoot 15 minutes of 2016’s Captain America: Civil War on the new camera—a test, of sorts—before filming all of the next two Avengers movies on them.

Re-watched Thor 1 for the first time in a couple years. Easily the corniest movie in the MCU.

I seriously hope that Ragnarok does some justice to the character because his movies suck.

Assuming it's still the one in Asgard, one theory is that Loki is still kinda working for Thanos like in Avengers 1, and since Loki was last seen in Odin's place on the Throne, he can have easy access to the Gauntlet. Which is why I am really excited for Thor: Ragnarok. The possible destruction of Asgard and more focus on the Infinity Stones. The Celestial background in GoG was one of my favorite parts

They confirmed the one and Asgard and the one he has are not the same.

Oh forreal?

The one in Thor had a bunch of the stones in it, so I read that it was a fake put up by Asgardians

Or they can completely just write it off haha

The one in Asgard could easily be fake, because why would Odin display that with all the gems inside of it? Doesn't make sense.

People have said it was just meant to be an easter egg since Marvel didn't know it would be in future film plans. Interesting if they will reference it in other movies or just ignore it like you said.
