WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

No. Nobody remembers this and nobody really cares.

You holding on to to every single time you made a dumb prediction and ppl called you out for it. C'mon man.

I just hope you're this petty and go out your way to bring it up when Richard Rider as Nova doesn't show up in GotG2 and every other dumb defiant prediction you make doesn't end up true.

You sound salty. You ready to see spiderman in the MCU or nah?

Speaking of Nova... I think at this point I'd rather have Sam Alexander in the MCU

I was afraid to say this myself
Perfect examples of Marvel's hardwork and tactics bearing fruit and they really aint have any issues with Rider. They just felt it was time for a different take and fresh start since at it's core Nova and the Nova corps is a ripoff of the silver age Green Lantern revamp.

It'll obviously be harder with the X-Men but it's already underway. I feel like 10-20 years from now they're gonna come through with some Inhuman characters being preferred with the generation behind us.
You sound salty.
You're confusing being annoyed for being salty somehow.
You ready to see spiderman in the MCU or nah?
You ready to keep being wrong or staying in denial?

Leaked pictures from Civil War...apparently Spiderman is opposite Antman's side in the conflict and it leads to a confrontation between the two:

After the Battle of Sokovia, the country is nearly in ruins and its people are suffering from the drastic decline in quality of living. The Sokovian government cannot operate efficiently due to a stalemate between officials who have opposing ideals on how to deal with the turmoil properly. The community grows weary of the lack of government intervention and a militia forms led by a young and brilliant engineer. The armorized militia easily overthrows the divided government and their commander seizes the HYDRA Research Base as his stronghold. After several years of revamping the culture and ideals of his people and developing a robotic army based off remnants of the Ultron bots, engineer-turned-dictator Victor von Doom and the renamed country of Latveria wage a war on the Avengers and SHIELD, blaming them for the Battle of Sokovia and the destruction of their homeland.

This is assuming the rights get reverted back. It's not as fleshed out as I would like, but it was a quick daydream thought I had in my head during summer school lecture. There's probably holes in this idea as I've only seen AOU twice. Not sure if this idea has been brought up already. Feel free to add on.

tl;dr version: A young Dr. Doom overthrows the Sokovian government after the Battle of Sokovia and reclaims it as Latveria. The Hydra castle-like base is now his castle and the Doombots are based off the Ultron bots left behind. Dr. Doom wants to eliminate the Avengers destroying his homeland.

All I know is....

Dead pool trailer has my body feeling super tingly.

So happy they went rated R route

Well looks like Marvel might be able to strike a deal with Fox for Doom or Galactus... ? This could be their bargaining chip if Marvel allows Fox to make the XMen tv series.

Fox Near Deal for 'X-Men' Live-Action Series

Fox is inching closer to a live-action X-Men series.

"[For] X-Men, we're in negotiations with Marvel. We're hopeful we'll be able to announce something soon. We're not closed on a deal yet but it's something we're definitely pursuing," Fox Television Group chairman and CEO Dana Walden told THR on Thursday at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour stop.

"The characters from the X-Men franchise are with Fox on the feature side so we won't be including Marvel characters that are at ABC with Disney," Walden said of how the deal with Marvel will be structured. "This will be exclusively the franchise as it has existed at Fox."

While conversations to bring the franchise to the small screen are underway, sources indicate a deal is far from complete, with Marvel — which owns the comic rights — still having to sign off on the deal. The comic book powerhouse is based at Disney, with ABC shows including Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter on the network and five upcoming straight-to-series programs in the works there. Marvel would have to sign off on the deal.

Extremely unlikely for them to deal Doom, unless they give up FF rights completely, which will probably be dependent on success/failure of tomorrow film. Although I've heard rumors that they would rather produce a crappy film and release it in one theater to kept rights away from Marvel. Galactus and Silver Surfer are possibilities which were rumored to have been in "trade" talks a few years ago, but I think in the end the only thing that will be involved in a deal is $$$, and maybe some restrictions. Marvel isn't going to make a X-men series, since it would have to be outside the MCU, and unlike FF there's no reason for them to think X-men movies will stop making money any time soon, so might as well let it happen.

I think no matter what happens to F4, the sequel is still set to be made and they know they'll bank big time on the eventual XMen and F4 crossover, even if it is bad.

I like where that idea is going. Only thing I'd change is instead of Doom starting a resistance and taking over, Latveria already exists after his successful takeover there and then like Hitler he appeals to the poor of Sokovia and just annexes the whole country to make his nation bigger.
With Civil War, BvS, and Suicide Squad coming out in the same year, definitely lowkey
BvS and SS aren't Marvel movies though

If we just talking Marvel I can see Dr. Strange just straight up being a better movie than all of the Marvel movies so far.

I have no doubt the Russo bros will step their game up with CW though.

The title of the article starts with spoiler yet the title is somewhat of a spoiler.

I mean, was that really a spoiler though?

The topic has already been hit in this thread, not really spoiler-worthy when it wasn't anyone huge or anything. Figured he wasn't even going to be in the movie anyway...

Was expecting to see Ant-man.

Im confident they'll reach a deal. F4 will flop, and we can get a Doom for the Infinity Gauntlet [emoji]128546[/emoji]

They gotta give Marvel a character of two. Doom would be one good choice. I would love Wolverine. Obviously, I know that's a long shot. Would love Kang. I don't see why not give Marvel Kang.
