They'll pull it off. All of his costumes have been cool except the Avengers one. That one wasn't even all that bad, just the helmet made him look goofy.

I believe it. I'm just very skeptical as to how good they can make it look. I'm cool with with the chain-mail on Thor as his under armor, but picturing Cap's Broadway musical costume with chainmail just doesn't sound like it's a good idea. Now, if it gets a total revamp, then it's not really his og comic costume that we've all been arguing about.

Would be cool if BP gives him a vibranium chainmail

after he changed sides, that should even out his battle with IM

Bernthal can do it.

Let's hope he bulks up even more.

I think he's fine as-is from The Wolf of Wall Street. I don't see his physique being similar to Thor or Cap. Plus, I'm sure he'll have a lot of gear to make him look "bigger". I can see his character being like Slade Wilson from Arrow, as far as the physical-ness in how he plays the Punisher for some reason.
I pray to Odin he looks nothing like Slade.
I'm undecided. I hope he approaches the role right. He can definitely be crazy and violent but I dunno about capturing the other parts of Frank Castle. I've seen him in a lot of bit roles. I did not like the Shane character on TWD so I dunno if that was him doing his job perfectly or me not liking his acting.

nope that was him doing his job. he made it believable and relatable. he can pull this off.
This is where we disagree. I felt the writing for Shane on TWD was poor. So what he had to work with wasn't believable and definitely not relatable. I found his presence on the show increasingly annoying.

What Bernthal managed to properly convey was that when the show started Shane was on tilt already and went full crazy after Rick showed up. Son did a good job of showing Shane was quick to lose what civility he had, discipline he had as an officer (again if he had any), and how he wanted to basically embrace it being a dog eat dog world to match the new status quo of the world.

But I digress since the last thing I want to do is keep discussing character on the ****** show that is TWD.

explain

(only played the game a handful of time)

Lot of allusions to many characters that would become popular in the MCU like Rocket Raccoon and Hawkeyes level 3 super is a move where he fired and arrow with ant man on it and then ant man turns into a giant a steps on you....

Just gon' repost my response to that rumor from the BvS thread:

Really, really doubt that is the reason. If that were the case then they wouldn't have gone face to face with BvS for release day next year. I also do not buy the excuse that they have nothing to show, even if they are not finished filming CW they could definitely put up a 30 second snippet (hell they've done it w/o a single reel from AoU) and have Evans and RDJ come out with BP again and announce the new Spidey (if he doesn't have to report til July but they'd have hired him by SDCC). Hell reveal who Cap Marvel and Inhumans are or have James Gunn reveal that secret character. Or reveal the characters costumes, it should be enough to get people to freak out, DC did it with a simple WW and Supes costume reveals. Marvel could do so much if they really wanted to.

As much as I want to give DC credit for instilling fear into Marvel, I just do not see it.

I think Marvel has realized they don't have to cater to SDCC anymore given what it's become. They can always do their own special events on their own time. I expect them to skip more cons in the future. They'll probably be there for when IW comes out but even then they might do their own event before SDCC again.

I honestly think that's the way they're gonna go. And no, I don't know any spoilers.
 You can't be serious.

Yeah that Rumor that they're running from DC is stupid. It's like people forgot how much press they got from that event they did on their own. Marvel doesn't want to compete for headlines at a clouded SDCC when they can manufacture their own event and dominate movie news for weeks with a couple announcements..

And didn't DC announce their film slate that same week?

Anyway, it's not really like DC has a killer lineup either. They have one thing that a lot of the press has already turned their backs on (BvS trailer was ******* on, partly because it came out the same week as the Star Wars trailer. DC sure knows how to time stuff  )

Idk though dude just launched a site and it's been a slow news day so he had to get his clicks up somehow, nothing does that more than igniting a fanboy war

Well that's good news. I've always wanted CA to wear his og costume since TFA.

I'm still hoping for a Spidey appearance on CW

didn't they say spiderman was going to make a cameo in cw? I haven't kept up but I remember that when the news of him joining the MCU came out

Ahh no wonder they are taking their time with the Spidey casting.

Apparently the actor doesn't have to report on set for CW Until July.
