WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - XMEN97 release 3/20

Ex Machina was really not that good, imo

I'd save my money

No plot. Lots of drawn out suspense for no reason. No action. The only plus was the actress who played the robot. And the ending was really screwed up. Lol

Wait, it had no plot? I don't get that criticism

The story arc is pretty simple, it gets convoluted when you overthink it (the film makes it easy to do that)

eh by this point id prolly just download it or wait till dvd anyway lol

I know the no plot criticism is overused, but in this case there was really no plot lol

A lot of movies have simple arcs Yea but they will throw sub arcs in there as well to make up for it. The movie was very bare bones

It's been out there for months, I think an HD version leaked a week after it's release.

I thought the whole plot of Ex Machina was dude helping the creator prove his A.I was indeed sentient and could pass the Turing test? It's pretty simple and straightforward.

It wasn't just 2 ppl and a robot in a house doing ****.

As far as pure enjoyment
Mad Max - just great intense action
JW - very enjoyable but predictable at times and corny dialogue/story
AOU - enjoyed it but so much hype and too much revealed in trailers
F7 - enjoyed it but watched it when I was super tired and even dozed off for a lil bit

Gamora and the hulk are playing a married couple in a new movie. They showed a clip where he was massaging her feet then dives face first into her muff.

Used to do the midnight showings. Then they started 10 pm Thursday. 7pm Thursday is perfect. Crowds are great.

Ant man is next for me. Still have to watch San Andreas and Mad Max before it though.

Im gonna pass on San Andreas. Mad Max left me pretty thirsty and Ant Man Coming up. Crappy promotion by Marvel means I will see it no problem on release day.

Speaking of Pratts payday, Sony just signed him up for an upcoming sci-fi movie Passengers. He was suppose to get $10m already but Jurassic World success bumped it up to $12mil.

He isn't the one getting paid the most in the film though, Jennifer Lawrence is getting paid $20m plus 30% of the profit after the film breaks even in the box office.

There was some drama in that story though as it was when the Sony old exec (Amy Pascal?) said from the leaked emails that JLaw and actresses should just be happy to get paid and not ask for a raise or something to that extent. So now JLaw gets the last laugh.

I heard about the book. Pratt and Lawrence are the last two I have in mind for this kind of story.

I want to read the book now

*edit

My bad, there is no book. I could've sworn there was

Just saw age of ultron.. Why they do my man QS like that?
Also I wish Vision had more on screen time
Also why did it take Ulton 30 seconds to decide he needs to take over the earth after he was created?

AoU was lowkey butt

I think the statue of limitations is up and we can officially say that now . Personally I view it as more of a connective tissue to phase 3 than a standalone film and that doesn't bother me too much but when you isolate it from the MCU and critique it, the film is pretty meh

All the set pieces delivered and the action was great but I don't think I'll ever have the urge to rewatch it
