And you know it doesn't really matter at this point what his powers are similar to Ant-Man they'll refer to him as a lame for what he's most known for.

Them pics you just posted seemed to be made by a desperate Aquaman fan pleading the case that he's not as lame and useless as everyone thinks. You look at this list though and it's almost like some writers went completely overboard in giving him powers to make up for his rep and low status. Might as well have also made him an actual seaGOD.
Obviously Aquaman isn't useless. All I have to do is look at Namor and assume Aquaman most likely has most of the same copied powers but it's not going to change his status much. You'd probably need decades of comic stories of JL members deferring to Aquaman and it catching on in other media for his reputation to change.
Also they pushed the BP movie to later that year. He's a Nov. release now.

I've **** on just about everything Warner Bros has done but they have the right idea with the Aquaman film, the casting of Mamoa was excellent, the redesign really is the right direction for making a character that barely works on the page into making work on screen.
now they just have to write it and find a director and ignore Snyder influence. Easy enough.

Aquaman's reputation as lame or useless solely stems from Superfriends and people who don't read comics

Okay fine. Superman is not invincible. Magical gods can put up a fight. Is that supposed to be good storytelling?
I wont even go into most of those pics but I will say that the animals he controls are 15x bigger than they would be in basically any panel of any other comic. So you have to exaggerate his features to sell him?

That would mean she is either up for Thor, Black Panther, or Captain Marvel (unless they are looking for an Inhumans director this far out). My money is on Black Panther tho
