I know you guys have probably seen this custom around but I just wanted to try it since I didn't like how the finish was on other peoples work.

I rubbed off the glossy lines the original shoe had (2013 Clover 1s) which other people left behind which IMO,  made it look half assed. I also Tried mixing the paint to get a nice original, matte, low gloss finish like my other 1s.

I didn't want it to turn out like the glossy, fake-ish paint work like the others I've seen around.

First all around custom I've ever done other than mid sole re paintings. Just done like 2 passes of paint. Need 1 more to touch it up and finish it off. All done by hand. No taping off and stuff. How would you rate the outcome?

LMK if you would like your own. Can make a new pair on request. Probably gonna let these go locally or classifieds here when i can post. No hyped prices either. Stay tuned

I wouldn't mind a pair of those. looks nice but are you going to paint that green spot when you finish them?

Beautiful.  And yes, waay better than the ones that still have that glossy pattern (ebay, etc).

Rub it down with some deglazer/preparer. Acetone is the same. A little paint goes a long way. Ive done 2 pairs so far with 1oz.

ohhhh wow i was about to say what shoe was this at first but these are great homie
