Duke Freshman Student Leads Double Life As Porn Star

I'm saying that "thick" porn stars aren't popular amongst certain populations. A lot of old creepy rich white dudes would like her petite body type and "teen" look. The notion that she wouldn't get any work cause she's slim is foolish.

Duke is 50 to 60 grand a year. I'm guessing she'd need to do somewhere from 30-40 videos a year to substantially cover it.

Again, where are you getting these statistics? Just say you're making them up bro lol

Met a Managing Director from a BB CMBS shop at a conference in New York... Dude was a medieval history major... but he went to Cornell. As long as you network at those big schools, can pretty much major in whatever you want.
Networking hard at any school can open doors for you. My alma mater isn't great academically but I can name plenty of guys from my lower tier business program making six figures out of undergrad. A lot of people underestimate the fact that you still have to stand out from the other students at your own school to get looks from good companies. I turned down studying Economics at Michigan to attend my much lower ranked school's finance program because liberal arts is treated like a red headed step child there for business recruiting.

Did you even bother to read the link posted above you? She uses terms like "patriarchy" and "****-shaming" which is feminist lingo.
I actually did. Did YOU read it? Or did you just pick out a few feminist buzzwords and tune out?
Because clearly you are one of the people that she very accurately describes in her article.

A person who has watched and enjoyed porn but yet calls a sex worker like herself "The lowest of the low" So what does that make you?
You pleasured yourself to the "lowest of the low." Maybe not her in particular, but one of your favorite "actresses."
And now somehow after the fact you are better than they are? Yeah, ok. I hope you have a happy life in that Ivory tower you live in.

I just think its hilarious how that logic works, in the minds of hypocritical men.

On one hand you have pornstars, who are the scum of the earth at all times, except those times when you're waxin ole One Eyed Willie.
On the other hand you got chicks like Kim K and Draya, who are very nearly equally as slutty,
but are worshipped on a daily basis as wife material caliber goddesses.

Looks like this thread has gone everywhere, but I'll put in my 2 cents...

I know why most NTers see being a porn star as being degrading, shameful, etc...and to some extent, I do agree. However, what if this was a dude pornstar as we typically view them (i.e. not a gay porn star, like many of them are). Would yall still be saying the same "nut bust" comments and talking about how degrading it is?

I can see why she doesn't think it's degrading because she said herself that she loves sex, probably even the purposefully degrading sex. It's just that to her, when she's being degraded sexually, she probably doesn't feel truly degraded because it's what she wants and what she enjoys. From personal experience, some girls just like that stuff. You have to treat them with the utmost respect outside of the bedroom (which they deserve) but as soon as you hit the sheets it's like a switch flips and they want you to treat them like garbage. In reality, that sexual degradation is consensual, and because of that it can also be empowering because they're having sex exactly the way they want to, and they're truly enjoying it. Just sayin that from our perspective, yeah it might seem degrading, but I think that's because we don't often have those desires so we don't see that perspective.

No doubt there's a double standard all throughout this thread, some of these dudes deep down don't understand females and for some that means hating them.

If I could get paid for sex, I'd do it. Love is fleeting, bills are forever.

Honestly, id wife a pornstar. I gives no damns. In my life, most people wouldn't be so bold, plus I don't ever want to work for other people, so it's not as if it would be a constant thing, most days would be normal.

If she had everything else I wanted I wouldn't care. As far as kids, that'd be the hardest part, to explain to them, but I'd like to think I'd have rather enlightened young ones.

Sex...good sex that I enjoy...is better than anything else a women can bring to me. That's how I feel, f that companionship jazz, I've lived long to A) act as if being a pornstar makes you any worse of a mother/wife than most of these broads and B) to act as if good sex and someone to rub my back is anymore than I want from a wife.

I can't imagine ever truly love a women, to cynical, to afraid, plus I have my moms, also I can do damn near everything most dudes want a women to do (no ___), you don't know how many females I had to teach to cook and clean, honestly it mind bottling...leaves my mind all trapped like in a bottle.

*kanye shrugs*

Man hell naw...respect & cooperation is the best thing a woman can bring to the table imo

Just ask yourself, if you had a daughter, what would you do?  I mean, it's obvious.  You have to draw the line somewhere, and it's evident where that line is, but people just want to make a case for it.

My daughter could make her own decisions. If I have kids, I'm planning on raising them in a way where they're informed and introspective enough to choose their own path. If my child grows to be 18 years old and is stupid enough to try porn without really having a true passion for sex and that industry then I would have already failed as a parent by raising someone that short-sighted. However, if my daughter truly wanted to be a pornstar because she has a passion for sex and performing, honestly who am I to tell her no? The only reason I'd forbid her for doing so is if she's (a) underage or (b) doing it strictly for the money. Would I love her career path? Hell no. But if that is truly her dream / goal then I'll support her in what she does. IMO, that's how a good parent should act.

We're missing the big picture, though.

I think the real crime is going to Duke for a liberal arts degree.

I know a girl who went to Harvard and studied music. Another person from my high school went to Harvard and he's a standup comedian now. Weird.

Not for us to judge her on how she feels she needs to accomplish the things she wants to do in life. If she's okay with her decisions and not breaking the law, then let it be.

How do people still make money from porn if there are so many free sites out there?
Many porn stars escort and strip on the side. There is no money to be made if you don't direct or produce.

Dudes still flapping their capes for the bottom barrel of society. Talking about double standards

.

I've read somewhere that being on those cam sites brings in good money for some of them.

I'd be proud if my daughter went to Duke. If probably be more devastated if she didn't have high ambitions than if she did porn.

Yeah, I typed that. I grew up in an environment where I was encouraged to have unique interests, and I pursued them basically until I got bored and moved on to something else. Even though I only ended up sticking with a few things that became passions, each new experience gave me valuable perspective. I used these experiences to gain perspectives from all corners of life and built my own moral code upon them. Even now, I'm unafraid to pursue things I'm genuinely interested in, although I personally choose to keep them within the appropriate professional scope of acceptability. I think having grown up that way has made me who I am, and as a senior in college with a Wall Street investment banking job, I rather like who I am. So I would wholeheartedly afford my daughter the same leeway that I grew up with. I'm not saying I hope she becomes a pornstar, because like I said before, I wouldn't be happy about that. However, if she really did find in her heart that pursuing such a lifestyle is her true passion, then I'm going to support that, because I trust that I raised her to critically think and if she came to that conclusion then I'm sure she had a great reason for doing so. If it's too much for you to understand, you don't have to, just do you.
