Woke up to some great news, the show is coming back. New cast and new characters like they should of done starting with season 2. First season was the among the best TV I ever I seen. Hope to see some cameos. 
 
The writer's strike really destroyed this show's potential.
They BETTER get it right this time.

I need to see a fully realized Hiro Nakamura
 
Didn't Peter leave his girlfriend in an alternate timeline / future in season 2? Wonder if we'll ever know what happened to her.

Yeah, made me laugh how they never mentioned her again, like that episode just didn't exist

 ...might well have been because of the strike, but poor continuity.

Still one of my favorite TV shows ever though (excluding comedies)

First season was obviously the best, but those other seasons still had some great episodes.

I wonder if this new version will pick up where the finale left off, after Claire revealed herself to the world? 
 
I am the biggest fan of this show. I don't think I've ever seen a better S1 of any show. But the strike messed it up and I felt they were a little all over the place. Maybe I'll watch it through again on a boring day but again S1 will get me hyped and then just go down hill.

Like, I'd take Lost, Homeland...Friday Night Lights, Battlestar Galactica, Spartacus...even Veronica Mars' 1st seasons over Heroes. :lol:

And half of those ran into the ground too, but still.

All good. I think Heroes S1 was a let down, especially how it ended, straight snoozefest. I couldn't stomach any of the following seasons, quit midway through s2. A lot of shows took some hits during that writers strike, I just don't think heroes was going to be that good anyways. The reboot is in a good spot to succeed though, history, fans, better quality on TV and superheroes in film/tv taking off massively since then.

That **** was boring. After the pilot I wasn't interested in seeing him escape.

On topic.. i knew a few people who loved this show when it was on. I never saw it so I'll give this a go.

I agree with the Prison Break statement - one of my all time favorites. I was pumped to hear about the return of Heroes! Hopefully all characters will be back and it's here to stay a little longer this round 8)

The finale was so weak after such an awesome buildup.

As far as a new season, I'll wait before I pass judgement.
 
I watched a bit of Prison Break didn't stay with it.

Just at the time I was all into it and every episode was just good to me.

I didn't like Skylar being nice at all.

I wonder will they go the route where every episode is an individual character something like AD
 
Had so much hope for this show after the first season. I blamed season 2 on the writer's strike but things really started hittin' the crapper during Season 3.

The 'Villains' were supposed to be worst than Sylar, yet were disposed of with the utmost ease.

This wreaks of such desperateness.

I'd only watch the first ep if all of the females are fine and the cast are strong up and comers.

I highly doubt most of the good stars from the original show up (mainly Hayden and Zachary, the rest might be that desperate too).
 
With a ton of amazing shows going on I dont think we really need (want) Heroes back.
I watched the first season, liked it but when I heard season 2 was terrible I stopped caring for the show.
