Though codes vary, a good rule of thumb is that stairs must not be continuous for more than 12 vertical feet. At 12 feet, a landing must be introduced. 

With typical riser heights of 7"3/4 you typically see 16-18 "steps" in a flight of stairs.

Something's I noticed in two of tarintino movies

In desperado the guy who is sitting next to homie who told the story about the main character in the bar is the main singer in the band in the movie dusk till dawn


In dusk till dawn the same belt revolver that a guy wore is the same one that's in banderas guitar case

The girl that owned the book store is the main vampire dancing lady in dusk till dawn

The guy that throws knives in desperado is also in the movie dusk till dawn and even wears the same outfit

I was reading about this on another forum. I'll post what I found:

so, about this thing about Tarantino movies being connected or in the same universe. I know about these:

-Vic Vega / Vincent Vega from Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction being brothers
-Big Kahuna Burgers in Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and From Dusk Till Dawn.
-Red Apple Cigarrettes in basically all of the movies.
-Marcelus Suitcase of Pulp Fiction might contain Elvis' Golden Suit from True Romance. It was valuable, and it was golden, so it might fit the description.
-Tarantino himself stated that Kill Bill and From Dusk Till Dawn both are "movie within a movie".
-Kill Bill is a "movie movie" so, maybe The Bride is actually portrayed by Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction. (she's an actress and the plot from Kill Bill is heavily hinted in Pulp Fiction's dinner scene when she talks about the TV Pilot)

-Being Kill Bill a "movie movie", the sword that Butch uses in Pulp Fiction might be a piece of memorabilia from the movie "Kill Bill".
-Eli Roth character in Inglorious Basterds is called Donny Donowitz, in True Romance, there's a film producer called Lee Donowitz, Tarantino himself stated that Lee is Donny's son.
-Sheriff Earl McGraw appears in From Dusk Till Dawn, Kill Bill and Death Proof.
-Dentist of Django Unchained has the same last name as the grave where Beatrix Kiddo is being buried in Kill Bill. (Schultz)
-In Reservoir Dogs, Mr. White mentions a girl called "Alabama" as a former partner. She appears in True Romance.

Actually, those are Robert Rodriguez movies, who shamelessly tries to be QT.
 
The way and location hitler was killed in ww2 in tarantinos universe is why everyone is so desensitized to violence and obsessed with pop culture.

Theres a better explanation somewhere on the internet though.
