I never knew that......

High jump record is 8 feet. NBA nets are 15-18" in length. So there should be at least a 6" gap from the bar to the bottom of the net. Hard to tell in the picture but it looks like they're a few inches off. Still, pretty awesome.
That's what I'm saying yo. Have one of those frail jumpers try and come through the lane. Mutumbo gif

Did you know that the symbol was taken from Hinduism. In Hindu culture that symbol is meant to bring good fortune. :smokin

The Nazis adopted that symbol to represent race superiority and purity. :rolleyes

- U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) took home $540,341 in total last year
and gave $440,000 of it -- in cash, property and stock -- to charity, according to his 2013 tax returns, NBC reported.

The benevolent senator who once saved a neighbor from a burning building
and took a self-imposed food stamp challenge
, has restored our faith in humanity again, but this time it was just by reaching into his own wallet.
thank you for sharing this.

It is physically impossible. But in theory, you first would calculate 2^50, then multiply that by the thickness of a sheet of paper.

1. 2^50 = 1,125,899,906,842,624

2. Thickness of a sheet of paper ~ 1/10 of a mm

3. Multiplied together, you get a thickness of approximately 112,589,990,684,262.4 mm or 112,589,990.6842624 km

4. The Sun is about 149,600,000 km away from Earth

5. The piece of paper is about 112,589,990 km

6. 112,589,990/149,600,000 = %75.26
