I never knew that......

I never knew until today the 2 Chainz was a highly recruited high school basketball prospect and actually played D1 ball.

My dad told me that he seen Marvin Gaye and his crew hooping at his university gym when he was attending school.

-The NFL, and several other sports, are tax exempt organizations.
Dont think so, on ESPN's 30 for 30 it was reported that players actually have to pay each state tax they play in
Thats the players... the NFL itself is TE.  The revenue goes to the teams, teams pay NFL execs.... National Football League is "non-profit".

You didn't know that? I guess you wouldn't automatically think he attended college just by listening to his songs

. NBA Jam was rigged against the Bulls. A hidden piece of code lowered Scottie Pippen's ratings when he played Detroit, and the Bulls last second shots had a lower success rating. The programmers were Pistons fans.

. Nerf stands for non expanding recreational foam

I thought they just boosted the Piston's stats.

To add to the entertainers hooping discussion, when I went to LSU back in the late 90's it was nothing to see Master P, Silkk, and C-Murder balling at the student rec center. It's crazy to think about now, but dudes would be in there balling with college players, students and this one chick I know was in the WNBA. No one was snapping pics though, wish some were on the internet. Their crew probably wouldn't have allowed it anyway. This was well before phones on cameras.

yeah, man, P actually got cut from an NBA team pre-season.

During the strike-shortened 1998-99 season, Miller was a member of the Charlotte Hornets during training camp but didn't make the regular-season roster. During the 1999-2000 season, he once scored eight points in an exhibition game against the Vancouver Grizzlies while playing for the Toronto Raptors and continually packed arenas. The Raptors, however, waived Miller just before the season began. He has also played with Fort Wayne of the CBA and San Diego of the IBL.

Cam and Mase were nice in HS. Brian McKnight can also ball. Yes, that Charlie Murphy Prince story was actually true. Nelly was once a prospect in the Cardinals organization.
