Crazy thing is that the grills were actually for Hulk Hogan. Something about missing a phone call and George getting the deal.

Hulks wife told him that nobody would want to buy those dumb grills and he ended up endorsing some failed product instead.

And history has clearly proved her wrong.

For sum reason id b less inclined to buy a grill endorsed by hulk hogan looool.

.in one of the more memorable shots in "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" The Bride uses a samurai sword to split a baseball thrown at her clear in half. Zoe Bell, Uma Thurman's stunt double, performed this trick live for the shot, requiring no special effects.

Ben stiller actually forgot his lines and thats why he said "why male models" the second time lol.

In the late 80's early 90's a group of Disney animators were experimenting with the idea of 3D animation and making a movie. Disney didn't believe it would work with the costs and overall appeal to it. The animators believed in themselves so much they quit and started their own production company.

They gain the funds and years later come out with Toy Story. Following a huge success Disney realised they done F---ed up, apologised to newly formed Pixar and wanted them to return. Pixar accepted the apology but made Disney pay big $$$ to buy them back. Sweet... Sweet Justice

is that the full story?

-when movie credits say "no animals were harmed in the making of this movie" that only goes for during actual filming time I.e between when the director says "Action" and "cut".

-also if and when necessary there will be lawyers and publicists for the animals on set for filming to make sure their working conditions and requests are met. PETA is the cause of this. Best believe Air Bud had a posse as deep as 50 Cent when in rolled into the movie sets.

-Sweden recycles garbage so efficiently to power their country that they actually have to borrow garbage from neighbouring Norway (pretty sure posted already)

-Tea was accidentally invented in ancient Japan when an emperor who enjoyed drinking hot water everyday on day was in his garden in the fall season and a leaf fell from a tree and into his cup. He saw that the water was changing colour, tasted it, and the rest is history.

-in the 1900's-1940's if women came into the hospital with symptoms of dementia, or just plain going crazy a remedy doctors gave was giving them an orgasm right then and there. I want to say it "worked" but then again for some odd reason some women had recurring symptoms of dementia... Weird.

-in the 30's-50's for couples/marriage counsellors they often prescribed ecstasy to help the troubling couples bond more. Again it's pretty weird that a lot of couples came back with the same problems as before. Jokes aside the US government caught wind of this and stopped the prescription of it. Also the fact the FDA didn't know the hell what they were doing. Still don't think they are

is that the full story?

They got back together??

idk, i meant is that literally how he missed out on the grills

Worthington says, “He gave me some investment advice because his manager said to him, ‘You should get into these things, kitchen appliances, put your name on something’.

“The Hulk said, ‘Well, what have you got?’ The manager said, ‘Well, I’ve got this meatball maker… It pounds the meatballs when you (clench arm muscles and press fists together). The Hulk went, ‘That’s fantastic, I want the Hulkamania Meatball Maker!’

“The manager goes, ‘What about the other thing (investment opportunity)?’ He goes, ‘Ah, give that to your other client.’ The other client turned out to be George Foreman, it was the grill! So George Foreman’s made $300 billion and how many people own a Hulkamania Meatball Maker?”

Hogan’s claim differs from the one he made years ago on Hogan Knows Best, where he said he was offered the contract for the grill first, but missed his agent’s phone call because he was “picking up the kids.”

---

Switch to any 24 hour shopping channel and there is a strong chance that you will see a famous face pleading with you to buy something. It may surprise you that most products that are endorsed by a celebrity, no matter how enthusiastically that celebrity talks about that particular juicer or exercise bike, they had nothing to do with its design or conception. The same goes for the George Foreman Grill. For those of you who bought the grill because you thought the former heavyweight boxer designed it, I’ve got some bad news for you.

And the grill is also bad news for Hogan. According to the Hulkster, he was offered the gig of endorsing the grill in 1994 but missed the phone call because he was picking up the kids. Hogan said:

“George Foreman and I had the same agent. I went to pick my children up early from school…when I came home I checked my answering machine and my agent said ‘hey, Hogan, I’ve got a grill and I’ve got a blender, which one do you want to pick? I’ll call George and ask him since you’re not home.’ So when I got home I said what’s up with the grill and the blender and he said ‘George picked the grill because you weren’t home’ so $400 million later we’ve got the Foreman Grill…and I’ve got the Thunder Mixer…George has joked about it on several occasions and I would knock him out if I could.

O there is this story which he told Sam Worthington at San Diego Comic-Con. According to the Avatar actor, Hogan gave him investment advice and told him about the mistake he made with the grill. Worthington said:

“The Hulk said, ‘Well, what have you got?’ The manager said, ‘Well, I’ve got this meatball maker… It pounds the meatballs when you (clench arm muscles and press fists together). The Hulk went, ‘That’s fantastic, I want the Hulkamania Meatball Maker!’

Whichever story is true, choosing the meatball maker over the grill was a massive Hulkamania mistake. George Foreman has made $150 million from the clam shaped grill, that’s more than he ever made from his boxing career. Hogan did launch Hulk Hogan’s Ultimate Grill many years later but do you know anyone who has one of those?

Pizza is still sold at three McDonald's locations in Orlando, Florida; Spencer, West Virginia; and New Haven, Connecticut.
Im from New Haven and never knew that... Repped!

Don't know if these were mentioned...

**Lil' Wayne first went by the rap name Shrimp Daddy....

**All advertisements for the iPhone show a time of 9:42 (this is because whenever they release a new product, they like to have the big reveal 40 min into the presentation, therefore the image onscreen show a time of 9:40...plus a min or two because Apple knows the lead up will never take EXACTLY 40 min...

**When recording most of Jay-Z's albums he likes to call up Puff Daddy to borrow The Notorious B.I.G's Jesus Piece to channel his spirit while during the recording process in the booth...

**The index fingers on the Statue Of Liberty are 8FT long

**Alot of people remember Bo Jackson's legacy as being a Raider which is true but he was actually drafted by the Tampa Bay Bucs. Jackson turned down a 5 year offer by the Bucs after being drafted in 86'.

Can you imagine what all the NSW Bo Jackson trainers would have looked like in the Pewter or Creamsickle colors?

Fact #1: You can’t read while dreaming, or tell the time
If you are unsure whether you are dreaming or not, try reading something. The vast majority of people are incapable of reading in their dreams. The same goes for clocks: each time you look at a clock it will tell a different time and the hands on the clock won’t appear to be moving as reported by lucid dreamers.

Fact #2: Lucid dreaming
There is a whole subculture of people practicing what is called lucid or conscious dreaming. Using various techniques, these people have supposedly learned to assume control of their dreams and do amazing things like flying, passing through walls, and traveling to different dimensions or even back in time.

Fact #3: Inventions inspired by dreams
Dreams are responsible for many of the greatest inventions of mankind. A few examples include:

The idea for Google -Larry Page
Alternating current generator -Tesla
DNA’s double helix spiral form -James Watson
The sewing machine -Elias Howe
Periodic table -Dimitri Mendeleyev
…and many, many more.

Fact #4: Premonition dreams
There are some astounding cases where people actually dreamt about things which happened to them later, in the exact same ways they dreamed about. You could say they got a glimpse of the future, or it might have just been coincidence. The fact remains that this is some seriously interesting and bizarre phenomena. Some of the most famous premonition dreams include:

Abraham Lincoln dreamt of His Assassination
Many of the victims of 9/11 had dreams warning them about the catastrophe
Mark Twain’s dream of his brother’s demise
19 verified precognitive dreams about the Titanic catastrophe
Fact #5: Sleep paralysis
Hell is real and it is called sleep paralysis. It’s the stuff of true nightmares. I’ve been a sleep paralysis sufferer as a kid and I can attest to how truly horrible it is. Two characteristics of sleep paralysis are the inability to move (hence paralysis) and a sense of an extremely evil presence in the room with you. It doesn’t feel like a dream, but 100% real. Studies show that during an attack, sleep paralysis sufferers show an overwhelming amygdala activity. The amygdala is responsible for the “fight or flight” instinct and the emotions of fear, terror and anxiety. Enough said!

Fact #6: REM sleep disorder
In the state of REM (rapid-eye-movement) stage of your sleep your body is normally paralyzed. In rare cases, however, people act out their dreams. These have resulted in broken arms, legs, broken furniture, and in at least one reported case, a house burnt down.

Fact #7: Sexual dreams
The very scientifically-named “nocturnal penile tumescence” is a very well documented phenomena. In laymen’s term it simply means that you get a stiffy while you sleep. Actually, studies indicate that men get up to 20 erections per dream.

Fact #8: Unbelievable Sleepwalkers
Sleepwalking is a very rare and potentially dangerous sleep disorder. It is an extreme form of REM sleep disorder, and these people don’t just act out their dreams, but go on real adventures at night.

Lee Hadwin is a nurse by profession, but in his dreams he is an artist. Literally. He “sleepdraws” gorgeous portraits, of which he has no recollection afterwards. Strange sleepwalking “adventures” include:

A woman having sex with strangers while sleepwalking
A man who drove 22 miles and killed his cousin while sleepwalking (how is this even possible?)
A sleepwalker who walked out of the window from the third floor, and barely survived
Fact #9: Dream drug
There are actually people who like dreaming and dreams so much that they never want to wake up. They want to continue on dreaming even during the day, so they take an illegal and extremely potent hallucinogenic drug called Dimethyltryptamine. It is actually only an isolated and synthetic form of the chemical our brains produce naturally during dreaming.

Fact #10 Dream-catcher
The dream-catcher is one of the most well-known Native American symbols. It is a loose web or webs woven around a hoop and decorated with sacred objects meant to protect against nightmares.

Fact #11: Increased brain activity
You would associate sleeping with peace and quiet, but actually our brains are more active during sleep than during the day.

Fact #12: Creativity and dreams
As we mentioned before, dreams are responsible for inventions, great artworks and are generally just incredibly interesting. They are also “recharging” our creativity. In rare cases of REM disorder, people actually don’t dream at all. These people suffer from significantly decreased creativity and perform badly at tasks requiring creative problem solving.

Fact #13: Pets dream too
Our animal companions dream as well. Watch a dog or a cat sleep and you can see that they are moving their paws and making noises like they were chasing something. Go get ‘em Buddy!

Fact #14: You always dream—you just don’t remember it
Many people claim that they don’t dream at all, but that’s not true: we all dream, but up to 60% of people don’t remember their dreams at all.

Fact #15: Blind people dream too
Blind people who were not born blind see images in their dreams but people who were born blind don’t see anything at all. They still dream, and their dreams are just as intense and interesting, but they involve the other senses beside sight.

Fact #16: In our dreams we only see faces that we already know
It is proven that in dreams we can only see faces that we have seen in real life before. So beware: that scary-looking old lady next to you on the bus might as well be in your next nightmare.

Fact #17: Dreams tend to be negative
Surprisingly, dreams are more often negative than positive. The three most widely reported emotions felt during dreaming are anger, sadness and fear.

Fact #18: Multiple dreams per night
You can have up to seven different dreams per night depending on how many REM cycles you have. We only dream during the REM period of sleep, and the average person dreams one to two hours every night.

Fact #19: Gender differences
Interestingly, 70% of all the characters in a man’s dream are other men, but women’s dream contain an equal amount of women and men. Also men’s dreams contain a lot more aggression. Both women and men dream about sexual themes equally often.

Fact #20: Not everyone dreams in color
As much as 12% of people only dream in black and white.
