I never knew that......

Reminds me of quantum mechanics (the thing that Einstein actually won a nobel prize in and not his E=mc2 relativity theory). Light has wavelike properties and photon like properties at the same time. Schrodingers cat experiment, in theory, the cat was both DEAD and ALIVE at the same time. Obviously I haven't explained anything but yeah it's very interesting to read about.

I'm ashamed that I never knew this but...... Will smiths first name isn't William, it's willard

I'm in Toronto and I noticed that there are bunch of payphones and phone booths

 around.

I haven't seen one phone booth much less multiple phone booths in years.
I don't even notice these and i live here. Only payphone I'm aware of are the one near subway stations... they probably cost more to remove than to just leave...but i was mindblown when i saw 80 year old man doing maintenance on them.

most bamboo species only flower once every several decades, with the entire population flowering at once. When one variety flowers, the entire variety flowers at the same time around the world, regardless of location, climate, or any other factors for reasons scientists have yet to discern.

The etymology for the word sincere

comes from the old Latin words sine cere which mean "without wax." In old markets, when Latin was still a common tongue, ceramists would work on many different pots, and of course occasionally one would be dropped. When this happened, the ceramist would fill any hairline cracks with wax, and then paint over the wax so you couldn't see there was ever a crack. They would then sell the pot, therefore ripping people off.

Ceramists who sold 100 per cent legitimate pots, with no cracks or wax were noted as being sine cere or "without wax."

Adult diapers outsell baby diapers in Japan.

Thats because they have a diaper fetish and they have a really low birth rate. It was rare to see infant japanese baby. I got a bunch of home girls over there and none of them have kids and they are all 30+.

Learned that in high school reading Hamlet. Gets the job done and the murder weapon dissolves. Even if it doesn't and somehow gets preserved there won't be any fingerprints because it melts off. Shakespeare was a genius.

I can't remember which name it was but Shakespeare invented a name for one of his plays which is a normal name now. Much like the writer of Peter Pan invented Wendy for the book

Lol this is sorta true. There's not a crazy diaper fetish. But japan has big gap in ages. There are many people living well over 80 here.
