 I'm pretty sure that's not true. Butterflies and moths are completely different species.

I once heard somewhere that you can determine the sex of the crocodile by keeping the eggs in a certain temperature. The hatched crocodiles can all be either male or female depending on the temperature.
 
Yeah, Crocodiles change sex within their egg depending on temperature. Has to do with maintaining population.


I don't know how that makes sense but it's their evolutionary benefit I guess.

yea think it relates to reptiles in general. saw a thing about sea turtles and they had batches of eggs in warmer and colder temps to help change their sex

I can't find any real stats quickly (at work)... But Maine has a TON of African refugees that live here and there's a good number that have lived here 10 plus years... Most of these people aren't citizens and aren't counted I'm census polling... Maine is a lot more diverse than you'd think...

Least in Portland and the cities go... I get 20 minutes outta Portland and it's complete dominated by rednecks :lol:...

That is wild. Make me think that us humans aren't **** when compared to other life. They evolve to adapt to the environment. We just change our environment to suit our needs. Once we lose that option, we are done for.
