1 out of 10 pairs of Levi's jeans have a blank tab on them due to trademarking rules.

What I find interesting is that Levis HK are marketing them as "lucky" vs the US barely mentioning it. Probably because it turn into mark ups and resale.

I learned this because it was a big issue when the Levi 4s dropped. Some people thought they got fakes because their red tab didn’t have the Levi’s logo on it when this was the reason why. My kid worked for Levi’s a few years ago and it was fun dropping this knowledge on her. Even Levi’s stores in the US don’t tell their employees about it.

When there isn’t much light around, as is the case during an eclipse, the pupil expands to allow in more light. Even though there will be less visible light from the sun during a solar eclipse, the amount of UV radiation remains high. When the pupil expands to accommodate for low light, the UV radiation can cause damage to cells in the eye.

Most of those are obvious - there are a few funny ones though.

I would never have thought of chocolate for Ireland.

 at umbrellas for the UK. Maybe not so much a souvenir but something they need while there? I bet it would be different if it was separated into the constituent countries too - whisky for Scotland?
