Police Brutality Discussion & Solutions...

This thread literally has me scared and wanting to cry. The way these cops can ruin a persons life, and destroy a family is insane. They are the true terrorist. From the domestic dispute resulting the woman's husband getting killed, the guy with the bus, the dash cam vid of the two men being falsely accused and arrested. 15 months locked up, and only released because the video came to light. C'mon now this is wild. Dude in the car was assed out regardless of what he did because those cops already planned everything out.

They followed him, with no lights on then turn them on and when he pulls over claims he was trying to elude them :smh:? Got guns drawn on him, what the **** is he supposed to do? Black man white cops guns drawn, anymove could be your last. If I heard the cop say stop resisting, and why you trying to take my gun, I would start praying right then because I know my life is over.

The system refuses to acknowledge that these men will do and say whatever they need to as long as they can get away with it. Cop is in a pissy mood and sees me jay walk or something decides to make me an example. Next thing you know he is wrestling me down to the floor saying I tried to attack him. He would get away with it too, unless someone just happened to record at the right moment.

The final straw is these dudes coming into your home at will and violating us there. After that it is a wrap, we are done for.

I was walking past a couple cop cars in a parking lot. My friends were being searched. I wasnt even involved. Yet i get told to come get searched

Dudes checked my bag for weapons as they say. Even under my tongue. Since gang bangers carry razors under their tongues. Its 5 kids in the suburbs. The 2nd safest town in the country mind you. And we in 10th grade

After they found jack **** they threatened us saying we gonna get arrested if they ever see us again. Cop even said he would make up a bogus charge

Course i get home and tell moms. She calls the station and they said theyll look into it. My *** they did

they decided to drop EVERYTHING against me, i was relieved but the damage had been done.

i still have NO record whatsoever but when they did my background check for this new casino job it showed up,

they asked if i had ever been arrested and i said no. 

then they asked me again if i had ANY experiences with em and i told em my story and they said "ok, yeah because that popped up."

it still shows up even though nothing ever came of it, i asked how i would get rid of that and they said theres no way.

you can thank the DA for having the sense not to file charges when you clearly did nothing.

as for your arrest record, its simply that. In many states you can get it expunged so i would try looking into it, a lawyer can help you out for cheap if it is that important to you. Either way, you did nothing wrong, so it would only show as an arrest and nothing else.

busted parties I've been at, runners always got warrants involved. I'm in a house obeying the law, hell even if I'm smoking a little, I'm not running period. I used to every time but I noticed a trend and just stopped.

I didn't run. It was my crib. My boys ran and some people I didn't know threw their buds and grinders around my yard. I ended up finding all of it. Didn't give it back either because I could've got bagged. Hooked up all my weed head friends.

Then hours later people came stumbling out of the woods looking to party.

Funniest part was when people ran, my dog thought they were playing so he chased all of them pretty much leading the cops to them

I'm not reading through this thread...but I will tell you the same thing my Criminal Procedure, attorney for the last thirty years, works with the innocence project getting innocent people out of jail...

If you're in the car, produce your papers and keep asking "Can I speak with my attorney"

As far as cops knocking folks up the head...racists cops gonna racists

yeah I put that in the context of race because I'm a black male and I can't understand how anyone else views the police; to me...the are a necessary EVIL....however, they do mess with Negroes moreso than anyone else #factsonly.

Agree with all of this.

A lot of dudes talk their way into the back of squad cars unintentionally. It's important to know your rights.

your  thinking the worst of people. The context to the fictional non-policed nation would be a health democracy that works for everyone...though that will never happen hence the word fiction

non-policed nations are not fictional.... hence somalia and afghanistan

you are focused on ideals rather than real world applications....

non-policed nations tend to = feudalism... theres not any real way around that

non policed communities can exist... but any sizeable population won't be able to sustain it... hence the prevelance of feudalism when there is a lack of government structure...

i never said they WERE fictional. Yes its an idea. I did say fictional in my application. A democricy that works i did not use  a real word scenario as you did. Simply an idea for peace. i believe I also stated it would never happen..... because i know the ACTUAL repercussions of a non-policed nation.

i agree because its obvious. Though your rephrased rendition is a better way to state it. Though  a working democracy for the people would be some sort of structure.  Every time i say working democracy i chuckle a bit because i know that will never happen

you may be right, but it's still leaps and bounds better than videos where they're fighting the cops whose not even trying to arrest them, then yelling as to why they're being arrested.
we've seen plenty of those videos.
 
Why didn't the damn cop tell him why he was arresting him though?

I know he doesn't gave to at that moment, but use discretion. Just tell the dude what he's charged with.

This thread make sense. Instead of focusing on race, and being blinded by it, and trying to fan it, discuss the crime itself.
