NEW YORK METS 2016 SEASON THREAD

Best game I've ever been to live tonight.   i had a grad school class tonight, but losing any participation points i might lose were well worth it.  Seeing this in person and celebrating with a bunch of random Mets fans was priceless. Hearing that place go quiet aside from Mets fans after Murphs home run was beautiful.

I need to be in the city, or hell Chicago for a game in the NLCS.

For those looking for tix. google this site called rukkus.  I used it to get tix for games 1 and 5 this series. Paid quite a bit less then I would expect to pay on stubhub.

I love the "I'm a (fill in the blank team fan) but I'll root for the New York Team. Please leave me. Especially all those who were all on the guys tails during the subway series.

The Cubs can hit, unlike the Dodgers.

How about Murphy hitting homeruns off both Kershaw and Greinke?
 
personally, would rather have faced STL.  would've been identical path to WS from '06 haha. o well, beating the cubs is just as good.  Gotta keep schwarma in the ball park and we good!
 
The Mets are a financial mess heading into next year with the Wilpons owing 37M for the next two years in Madoff settlement money, arbitration deals, Cuddyer's salary going up 4M (being Wright's buddy helped him get a contract he didn't earn) and then FA signings. No way Cespedes resigns for anything less than 25M (they'll use him being 30 tomorrow as the excuse) and then you have a long shot at signing Murph as well.

I said it before but it's starting to feel "different" for us this year. Hot streaks, getting breaks that we normally don't get etc. Hopefully we can hold this lead and we got 3 more to get....
