NEW YORK METS 2016 SEASON THREAD

Hope Harvey does well today, deGrom threw way too many fastballs for his own good yesterday. That 2nd Teix homerun was just a good hit, well inside and was looking for it. Yankees got good pitching yesterday.

Really needed 3 TV's with all the 7pm game going.
 
I like Lagares down in the order. Gives another bat to get on base and potentially drive in runs. Grandy has been really solid as a lead off hitter by drawing walks.

If plawecki proves he belongs in majors, what we gonna do when arnaud gets back? o_O does plawecki play another position?
 
I can't deal with mental mistakes, esp from Murphy which have been constant this season.If he's not hitting .300 or close to it eventually, he should be benched after those on field mistakes.

Campbell having a rough game, Flores has been playing better so can't get on him too much for that error.

So disappointed that the Mets lost. That's cool. Let's win the next series.
 
the running errors and defensive errors cost us this game. Dont slack off Mets. Brush it off and proceed forward.

Dellin Betances was throwing HEAT for the yanks. A 98mph fastball then a 79 mph slider. :smh: Thats not fair.
 
Tough loss with three starters resting last night. I really believed Duda was going to do something big in the 9th inning last night. A lot of good foul balls, but terrible swing on the last pitch. I can't believe he actually swung that one. I hope he can learn from his mistake.

Let's get Colon his fifth win of this month tonight. LGM!
