GRODT

The Documentary was/is what The Massacre was supposed to be.

All those hooks and beats was all supposed to be for the Massacre album.

Lead off single everything :smh:

Massacre still sold, but just off the strength of 50 star power at the time.

:smh: 50 would have had back to back to back classics or near classics... I count Power of the Dollar to be a hood classic for myself.

That is the main reason why 50 would probably work with Ja Rule before he ever works with The Game again I think because 50 basically made the Game and did so much for him and for him to turn around and pull that stunt.

I know 50 regrets that the most in his career more than anything.

I listen to Documentary over the years more now that GRODT, even though Game's G-Unit references are hilarious given what happened. Can't go wrong with either though.

Ones a hood/rap classic.

One transcends all genres and was a worldwide classic.

Both flawless victories tho.

Back then I would've picked get rich or die trying. Over the years I've grown to like the documentary more.

Its funny hearing all the g unit references in the documentary though and then seeing 300 bars drop a few months later.

i just find it funny how 50 tries to save face saying The Documentary wouldn't be what it is without his input. that's like saying GRODT wouldn't be what it was without Dre & Em.

GRODT is the better album but I have to be in a certain mood to give the whole album a spin, a listen to The Documentary a lot more.

Straight outta Cashville>>> both though and truthfully idc idc idc
I don't agree, but Straight Outta Cashville is a classic to me

To answer OP's question, Documentary is better. GRODT was obviously monumental ****, but there's like 4-5 tracks on there that aren't too good.

i liked the doc more

...but grodt, good god
