Gotham Knight video game (new trailer) 8/22/20 p.66

A friend of mine bought this game last week with the season pass. She didnt know the code was printed on the receipt and threw it out

The lady at Gamestop said that they are unable to reprint the receipt even though she paid with a cc. Is this true?
Yeah I don't think there's anything to be done. The GameStop person is supposed to clearly tell the customer the code is on the receipt and also circle it. If they didn't do that am then she could maybe complain I guess

Yeah if they didn't tell her I would complain.

Damn she can't get her money back?

The Mr freeze boss fight is an updated version of the one from batman vengeance. Tricky

Looks like it is WB Games Montreal is handling/made the Batgirl expansion.

Entertainment Weekly has revealed some new info on 'Batgirl: A Matter of Family', an upcoming story expansion for Batman: Arkham Knight starring Barbara Gordon in her superhero days pre-Arkham Asylum. WB Games Montreal (who developed 2013's Batman: Arkham Origins) are taking the reigns of this DLC, set in a brand new area of Gotham called the Seagate Amusement Park, a nautical theme park where Barbara must rescue her father, Commissioner James Gordon, from the clutches of the Joker and Harley Quinn. "We wanted to recreate the feeling of being trapped in a bizarre and unique open environment playing a game of cat and mouse with the Joker," explains design producer Justin Vazquez.

The expansion will put a strong emphasis on Barbara's technological skills, with Batgirl utilising hacking mechanics as well as that all-too-familiar Arkham combat. "Hacking is really what separates her from the other characters. It's a gameplay mechanic with which the player can create situations for Batgirl to really shine," Vazquez tells the site. "Our intention was that Batgirl should be less powerful than Batman, but that Batgirl plus hacking could give her opportunities do things that not even Batman can pull off."

'A Matter of Family' will also make use of Arkham Knight's Dual Play mechanic, with Batgirl teaming up with Robin to take down the Joker and Harley; Vasquez also reveals that the fan-favourite villainess will sport her iconic red and black costume from Batman: The Animated Series. "Seeing these four iconic characters together at the same time will be a real thrill." Expect a number of side quests, easter eggs and collectibles in the expansion as well.

No. Because for all they know, she could wait until afterwards and redeem the code for free. I don't know of GameStop keeps track of the random codes they generate and are able to cancel them

Do I get anything extra for New Game+ after doing Knightfall Protocol?  I'm bout to just start the new game+ and finish that

thanks guys.

She'll see if theres anyone at GS who can help but yea....looking out of luck with that

My memory is foggy but I believe Grayson was already Nightwing in Asylum and it's about 2-3 year time-span between AA, AC and AK while Origins was ~5 years before AA?

The tank play really isn't that bad in this game. I don't know why it gets harped on so much.

Tank is beast. Some of yall must suck.

Also, I would have loved to have started wth the Batmobile like in the Asylum. That alone looked amazing

Joker tells Batman in Asylum that it's time for a new sidekick, meaning that he had already captured/took care of Jason by this time.

Jason should have been Robin in this DLC based on the timeline I think

And Rocksteady retconned Origins to be 10 years before Knight meaning Asylum is 8 years after Origins. Because they realized how ridiculous WB Montreal was for making Origins 5 years before Asylum

And yes, Tanks are trash. Really? I fight the world's greatest hand to hand assasin in a stealth tank battle? Terrible deciaions.

Nah, it was shoved down your throats and you had no choice but to finish those things with the tank.

Jeremy Jahns explains it much better, it was cool and great at times but they really pushed too hard for it.

Deathstroke, one of the best hand to hand combat villains had to be beaten by a tank. Arkham Knight boss fight ends up you being chased by a tank and really do not fight him hand to hand either.

So batman was supposed square up and fight all those militia tanks with his bear hands? Lol

Aint nothing wrong with the batmobile at all. It's used just enough

Just found out last night you can do car takedowns

No one is saying he should have taken it down with his bare hands, talk about reaching and reading out of context.

What everyone is saying is that it was too much batmobile and some of the epic fights should have been hand to hand or a different boss fight. Honestly after you sneak up on tanks a handful of times, you don't need to do it several more.

One of the main complaints is the lack of boss fights but the thing is, some of those tank battles were boss fights and it was just not big enough or epic enough or good enough that it felt like a chore to do than what should have been an epic fight.

It's used way too much and when majority of the reviewers love it to a certain extent until you had to battle with it a millionth time and people get sick of it, then there is something to that complaint.

Again, I love it too and one of the few that actually enjoyed sneaking up with it but really when you beat villains with it instead of a typical Batman hand to hand combat or some new boss fights (like Mr Freeze or Killer Croc) then it just becomes underwhelming and disappointing.

I mean if that batmobile was only in the game for navigating Gotham and car chases people would've lost their minds and complained about how the batmobile was pointless. The battle mode added a whole new element to the game. Some of the riddler missions with the tank and it's power grappling hook were clever.

And batmobile assisted takedowns are awesome as as well
