Michael Jordan Officially a Billionaire! - NASCAR Team Owner

so glad i stopped buying jordans and invested in and got exposure to nike to nike via the stock market ...

wow @ these sales figures
Bingo. Think I might double down next week. This train ins't stopping anytime soon.

People laugh because they keep re releasing the same shoe.

Its an awesome business plan because 5 years, a new crop of kids 9-14 become of age to where they start working and making their own money, and cop because they couldn't when they were younger.

It really is a product they may stick around for awhile.

And  @ the person that thinks Jordan can't go to another brand and command more.

Dude could go to adidas and sell $300M, collect 50%, and be better than has position he is in now.

Let's not forget the windfall effect... Young athletes who idolize Jordan will inevitably begin to sign with adidas, bringing more clout.

Let's tack on the globalization of adidas, and how they can have a larger product reach than one would think, and its plausible.

Jordan does not need Nike. Nike doesn't need Jordan. They have a slew of athletes...

However... I think Nike would take longer to recover than Jordan.

What if Jordan was a super shrewd businessman and had a clause to where he can either A. Take then designs of his shoes with him or B. They have to cease making shoes with his signature on it? :wow:

How? Have you seen the way he dresses? If he goes to another brand, they(or he) would have to come up with all new designs.

If he could, he would. This is Jordan we are talking about. His ego would not let Nike have so much control if he really could go to another brand as easy as you think he could.

As a native of NC, still Awesome to see my dude from Wilmington doing it Big. Glad he was able to take the reigns of the Hornets too. My all time favorite sports figure, no one else is Even Close!

Thanks for posting the article rfx45 rfx45

Surely it has to spot at some point, right? They cant just keep making the same shoe over and over and over forever. As the people who will influence pop culture in the future will have never seen him play, there has to be an end eventually.

.03% = 3%
once again .03 is 3%

http://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/decimal-to-percent.htm
man, you thought .03% interest was 3% interest.... and you argued the point...

Then you posted some bootleg investment site that even gold st capitol wouldn't **** with..

don't try to play it off
never forget

.03 x 1000 =30 So what are you talking about?
the math above is correct.

The statement (.03 is 3% of anything) is incorrect.

Using your logic, this statement would make sense also:

2 is 200% of anything.... (fail)

1000 x 2 = 2000.....(true)

2 is only 200% of 1

Not a fan of mike off the court and couldn't tell you the last time I bought a pair of his shoes, this is good for him tho definitely seems like he should be getting more but I'm not surprised.

What I meant to say was .03 ALWAYS equals 3% in decimal form. If you're solving for 3% you multiply by .03
